Can God create a stone so large that He Himself cannot lift it?

He can chuck a stone at your head and smash your brains in for being a smartaleck.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

      Be with me, Brother.

Does that answer the question? Surely God Himself encouraged us, as good-natured Christians, to pursue knowledge.

God can also order His angels to have you stripped, flayed alive and then dipped into a vat of lime juice. Amazing the things God can do.

No where in the Bible (KJV1611) does it mention God lifting anything other than people.

Also, can unicorns lift heavy rocks?

My friend, it is merely a question that tries to understand the Good Lord's limitless power over us mortals.

Unicorns lift rocks? Perhaps metaphorically, my friend.

It's indeed strange seeing such hostility from such a group of God's warriors. It's a mere question stemming from mere curiosity. There's no reason to flay him and marinade him in lime juice.

I will say this, if God were real, he probably could make a stone too big to throw. Since his first act of impossibility would void the second.

This has been covered before. I'm not sure where the thread is, because it was several years ago.

The answer to your question is in the Bible. We only have to compare God's rock creating ability with His rock-lifting ability.

The Bible tells us that God created the Earth (Gen 1:1). That is a very large and heavy rock.

The Bible also tells us that God is as strong as a unicorn (Num 23:22, Num 24:8) -- not stronger than a unicorn, but as strong as a unicorn. I've never seen a unicorn myself. I imagine that they are pretty strong, but I doubt one could lift the entire Earth.

Therefore, the answer is yes, God can create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it.

here's a bit more about unicorns.
                  Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Surely, in order to create a rock that He could not lift, all He would have to do would be to create a normal-sized rock, then create some iron chariots guarding it?

You aren't going to find anyone here who is dumb enough to fall for such a silly false religion.

Creation itself testifies that God is real. Who hung all those stars up there. It wasn't your made-up God -- it was our God, THE God.

Edited to add: I'm going to have to ask you to change your avatar. It looks like a Satanic pagan symbol to me, and that isn't allowed here. If you don't change it, I will have to go into your settings and delete it myself, and I can't promise that I won't hit the "ban" button while I'm in there.

I understand, but it's not a pagan symbol. It's a modified version of my family's crest from England.

Absolutely not. Even posing such a question suggests that you doubt the power of God. God doesn't go around lifting stones like some Mexican.
