  • Hello, I noticed that many of you don't understand evolution.

I noticed that when in a topic someone mentions evolution, most reactions quickly become agressive, but also uninformed. Believing in evolution doesn't necisarely mean God doesn't exist. God could have also created the first animals, wich later evolved into new animals.

One of the things angry people around here say, is that evolution happened in one or two generations (a.i., a monkey gave birth to a human.), wich is not what the evolution theory says. It says that slowly, over thousands of generations the monkey-race turned into humans.

The reason as to why animals evolve is also easily explainable. Example:
A group of rodents is split in two by an act of nature, for example a river. The two groups now can't mate with each other, and continue on on seperate ways. One group keeps living the same way as they did before, just finding random fruit and plants on the ground. The other group has more trouble finding the same food, and now has to dig underground for food. Over time the digging group gets better at digging and grows better claws. The other group just keeps living like they did before and evolve whatever is useful for that kind of lifestyle. This proces goes on until the two groups cannot mate with each other anymore, even if they were put back together anymore -> they are now two seperate species of animals.

Above stuff happening is a matter of luck, or to those of you that don't believe in luck, I guess it could be because of God wanting it. But seriously people, don't scream random jibberish all the time, it makes you look stupid.

Well, nice way to ban my account I guess. Cheers.

Why would we ban you friend? You seem to be here looking for rational, level headed discussion and we welcome that.

Now, with regards to evolution, I started in the Garden of Eden. I ain't no monkeys cousin.

Do you have any Biblical references to support evolution?

We enjoy sane posts by people as yourself. However you are mistaken.
The Bible says 6,000 years and God created everything. Have you ever witnessed this so called "evolving" in action?
      Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

No, I haven't witnessed evolution in action, it happens too slow for one man in a single generation to see. However, it's common biology to know that when one does something for a time, he gets pysicly better at it. It seems logical for the same to be true in an entire species of creatures.

And I guess I have no Biblical reverences to evolution, but then again, the Bible was written in a time before the evolution theory even existed.

Did you know that your hero Darwin was a drug-addicted communist who wanted to marry his cocker spaniel? He died screaming for Jesus, but it was too late.

I'll pray that you don't follow him to eternal damnation.

Where did you get that? Even if he was, it has nothing to do with his theory. The theory makes sence wether the man was a communist or a capitalist or whatever.

That's not what monkey worshipper Darwin said at all. First of all, he talks about species, not races. Second, he said that apes and humans must have a common ancestor, which is quite a different thing altogether.

Over time the digging group gets better at digging and grows better claws.
That again is not how they claim it works. Evolution in this case would favor those rodents who through genetical variation would grow "better" claws (a better "fit" to their ecological niche), with more chance of survival.

No, I haven't witnessed evolution in action
Again, than you haven't been paying attention to those silly evilutionists. They would give you examples like the Biston Bistularia or something lame like that.

Anyway, it's a moot point. There is no evolution in the KJV.
              Psalm 81:10:

Well it might make sense if he was a communist or a capitialist; but not somebody that wants to have sex with his dog. He was obviously unstable and a sinner. He's burning in hell right now.

And to the other guy, it was just a small post, I can't go in-depth on everything of evolution. But most biology books cover it pretty nicely. Also, wikipedia gives a good idea of what it is, it isn't perfect because people make wrong edits all the time. But still.

Geneticly, man and apes are a lot alike. There's a link.

At least learn what those damned atheists are actually saying before confronting us with dog fornicating "Scintists".

The link went somewhat AWOL, Brother Mayfield. Perhaps that's why they refer to it as "missing".

Re: Hello, I noticed that many of you don't understand evolution.

You should take a look here

                            some highlights:
The Theory of Evolution is not a scientific law or a law of biology. A scientific law must be 100% correct. Failure to meet only one challenge proves the law is wrong. This web page will prove that the Theory of Evolution fails many challenges, not simply one. The Theory of Evolution will never become a law of science because it is wrought with errors. This is why it is called a theory, instead of a law.
The same process is done with flowers, fruits and vegetables. New variations of the species are possible, but a new species has never been developed by science. In fact, the most modern laboratories are unable to produce a left-hand protein as found in humans and animals.
If natural selection were true, Eskimos would have fur to keep warm, but they don't. They are just as hairless and everyone else. If natural selection were true, humans in the tropics would have silver, reflective skin to help them keep cool, but they don't. They have black skin, just the opposite of what the theory of natural selection would predict. If natural selection were true, humans at northern latitudes would have black skin, but they have white skin instead, except for the Eskimos with skin that is half way between white and black. Many evolutionist argue that melanin is a natural sunscreen that evolved in a greater amount to protect dark skinned people who live near the Equator. They simply ignore the fact that dark skinned Eskimos live north of the Arctic Circle. Melanin in the skin is not a sound argument in favor of evolution. The theory of natural selection is wrong because it cannot create something in the DNA that wasn't there in the beginning.
                            Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled

The thing about disproving evoluition has Bible in the URL :/ It can't be 100% unbiased. And well, scientists (there's an E in there.) don't know everything (yet). It's not easy having to explain everything.

Though you now expect me to make everything clear to you, I can't. I'm no evolution-scientist. Just a guy that's pretty annoyed by people calling evolution 'evilution'. If you want more info on evolution just find some neutral source about it.
