In the beginning...the fellow known as Pastafarian tried to make an interesting and amusing post. However, he failed very very badly at this. Would you care to try again?

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Re: In the beginning..
The Pastafarian movement is just another in the vast chain of irrational human superstitions. As a growing and mutating religion it is a tangled mess. What's next for Pastafarianism...Pope Linguini the First declaring that unbelievers must be sauced?
Well, it wouldn't surprise me if these Pastafarians were mostly sauced already!
No, we must not let this starchy false faith spread -- Pastafarians should be confined, like medieval Jews, to ghettos...or in this case, I suppose, spaghettos.
Burning them at the stake? Well, perhaps boiling alive would be more appropriate. How do you tell if a Pastafarian is done? Throw him against the wall and see if he sticks. Then you can sprinkle him with parmesan cheese and bury him with a pasta fork through his heart.
Now I ask you, does the Bible mention pasta?
And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof. Numbers 4:7,8
NO! It does not.
