The reason is your near functional illiteracy. You quote non-existent Bible verses, you use the word and half the time you should use a period instead, and you fall back on obscenities beause you cannot win your arguments with logic and facts. You deliberately ignore half of the one Bible verse that you have been able, almost, to quote (Who stretches out the heaveans like a curtain--have you ever seen a spherical curtain?) and make moronic statments about the rest (a circle with a tent on it may be a circus, but it is not in any way a sphere). And yet you grow angry when nobody accepts your pathetic and unsupported arguments that the Earth is spherical. You may be 23, but you are no better than a petulant child throwing a tantrum, plain and simple. And you know what God says to do with disobedient children, don't you?

If we anger you so much, why don't you do everyone a favor and go find somebody else's sandbox to play in.

i was speaking more of the spherical shape of the earth...i don't even know what you are talking about, as i never made any points about the accepted facts from the KJV....

i was speaking more of the spherical shape of the earth...i don't even know what you are talking about, as i never made any points about the accepted facts from the KJV....

I am 23 and the reason behind my poor grammar(which would include punctuation) is the rage i feel towards backwards people like you and i am not trying to debate the word of God, however i am trying to debate your rejection of a fact that has been prove thousand, if not millions of times. And the reason i bring up tounges ceasing is to prove a point, so would you tell me if you do believe that tounges have ceased? And please show me my mis-spelled words, i am using Mozilla Firefox which has a built in spell checker so any word that you believe are mis-spelled are most likely from your own misconceptions on how the words are spelled.

If you have some scriptures that prove that we are wrong in any way, then feel free to post it here. All we ask, insist on actually, is that you state your case with respect. We do not tolerate unsaved fools who come here to persecute us for our beliefs, and this is not a debate forum.

This is not a debate forum. The purpose of this site is to praise and glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a place for Christians to fellowship and worship. The goal of the Landover Baptist Church forum is to draw people to Jesus Christ because Scripture confirms that salvation comes only through Him.

Luke 6:22 tells us that because we preach the True doctrine of Jesus, men shall hate us and call us evil. So naturally, we expect that folks will get their feathers ruffled by some of the things they have to say, and they will come on here to argue with us. Perhaps we have said something that upset you. Maybe it was something I said. If so, then I am sorry that you are upset, but I do not apologize for what I have said. My words and thoughts come from the Holy Scriptures. I didn't write the Bible -- God did. So if my words upset you, then you don't have a problem with me -- you have a problem with God.

We tend to get two types of dissenters here. Some are calm and reasonable folks who are capable of rational discussion. I personally enjoy discussing religious topics with this sort of person.
