    Wow.
This is singlehandedly the stupidest thread I've ever seen.
    Attributing volcanic eruptions to God.

It makes me heave just thinking about it.
That's an excellent point, BBJ. All morality comes from God; the man who is without God is without morals!

Let me walk you through the accepted definitions:

A "gnostic" is someone who believes we can/do know God.
An "agnostic" is the opposite; someone who believes it is not possible to/we do not know God.

A "theist" actively believes in a god or gods.
An "atheist" does not actively believe in a god or gods.

Note that, unlike your apparent thought process, there is no continuum of "theist" <--> "agnostic" <--> "atheist".

There is "gnostic" <--> "agnostic" and there is "theist" <--> "atheist".

No overlap. They are not related words.

That is how we have "gnostic theists", like True Christians™, who know that we can know God and who believe in God.

We also have "agnostic theists", like you, who don't think we know or can know God, but think that some sort of god-type thing is probably floating around somewhere. Most self-described agnostics are actually agnostic theists.

Then there are "agnostic atheists", which is what most self-described atheists are. They say, "I don't think there's a god or gods because I haven't seen any evidence, and I don't think there's evidence that we can understand." The agnostic atheist is still open to evidence, and recognizes that saying "I know there is no God", since it is not possible to prove a negative, is an act of faith instead of knowledge.

Finally, the true God-haters are "gnostic atheists". They are certain that we would know God if He were out there, and therefore are certain that He is not. They are every bit as faith-driven as True Christians™; we understand their true motive to be a desire to live a life of sin, so they choose to believe there is no God to punish them for their perversions.

"Antitheists" are a whole separate bunch. These are people who are against religion in all its forms, because they think it is destructive to humanity.

I hope this has been educational for you.

Okay, then, stop making things up and finally show us a man-shaped spaceship! Or do you think Ezekiel had no idea how a man looked like?
Do we look like a spaceship? No. Or an airplane? No!

    There you go.

Adam. I'm not being unfriendly here but seriously, you are believing in some way out stuff. Talking donkeys? Yep, it explicitly stated God made one talk. Space aliens? Not so clear.

Anyway this thread is not about whether woo woo flying saucers are what is meant by angels.

There's not a lot but there is some.

    Ezekiel 1:5-9 >> link
Ezekiel 1:16 "the wheels and their work" He's quite clear that these were made things, just not known things
Ezekiel 1:19,21 "When those went, these went, and when those stood, these stood" Now we'd say, "Yo dude an' they flew those things, like woooo0oooosh" a bit out of my age group there but that's how they talk these days "Cooooooooooool"
    Ezekiel 1:22 >> link
    Ezekiel 1:24 >> link

    And so on.

Note also the wing tilt on this pod >> link it's a mock up but you can see what I mean here. Hope that helps, but in fact I'm here to see what you think. The words are plain, we don't need to make things up.

This is just plain demonic. Why are you here, space man?

Well, I am just a woman, so I do not understand everything, but I read somewhere here on the forums that science cannot prove anything. All that science can do is to create theories. And theories are just theories, right? Not facts.

Do you know where can you find facts? In the Bible. There is not a single theory in the Bible! Only facts, straight from God.

And by the way, God knows our heart's limits since He created us. He knows that we cannot grasp, think of a number that high. Billions? The human heart cannot understand 14 billion....but it is easy to understand 6000.

I know. When anyone with patience can do the addition and see that that would leave an outrageous amount of time where nothing of any importance happened. Let's just say for the sake of argument that God creates the world 6000 years ago like we know to be true but there's all this time with nothing happening in it? It just doesn't make sense.

    Age of the Earth
    How old is the Earth?
Current scientific thinking puts the Earth at about 4.5 billion years old.

Why can't you atheists get it into your head that you can throw all your clever arguments at us all day long but I checked the Bible cover to cover and every word of it says God is real.
