You know your universal answer of "Because He is God and He SAYS SO."is getting quite old, and its not a valid argument, just saying "Because He is God and He SAYS SO." doesn't show a good level of intelect development...you want to win arguments do a proper one.

1 hypothetical scenario - A guy who is kind, goes to charity events, helps people, etc...he is kind to everyone is whole life never done a bad thing, not even the littlest bad thing that you could think of...just one thing...hes an Atheist.

If you say GOD will judge you the same way you judge others, everyone here are basically screwed. Also don't say that Atheists are this and that you know that Atheists isn't a person, is a group of people, and not every person in that group shares the same characteristics that you people say, not all Atheists are bad people just as, not all christians are bad people.

I've been giving quite a bit of thought to this knotty problem of so-called evidence of geological time these nutjob atheist scientists put forward to say the earth is millions and even billions (I know - crazy) of years old.

I'm going to focus on eathquakes and volcanos.

So the scientists tell us that for the first however many millions of years the earth was barren and volcanos were going off everywhere and earthquakes were ripping up the planet. For them I have just one question: who exactly was God supposed to be smiting?

We know that God sends natural disasters to get our attention and warn us that we are displeasing Him or just to plain old root out the ants nest of sin and depravity like in Sodom and the Great Flood.

Yet these idiot scientists tell us that God was smiting the Earth for millions of years with nobody to witness any warnings or be horrifically burned and crushed to death in order to warn others of their lack of prayer and so on. Why bother? Was God supposed to be warning jellyfish to swim right or fish that they'd better grow legs pretty sharpish? Ever tried to warn a fish? You can yell at them all day while they flap about in the bottom of the boat to grow some lungs and breathe air but they die all the same.

The only point for natural disasters is to warn us of our sinfulness and to repent or be smote again and the only logical conclusion is that Man was right there from the beginning witnessing all these events just like God says. The steady accumulation of evidence as you just think for a moment about the Bible and how it has an answer for every crazy theory these scientists dream up is a marvel to behold!

I'm going with your point of view...did you read the part in the Bible that says GOD created the world in 7 days, maybe he was constructing the world and the natural disasters were only shaping the world...you need to do a little reading, because you are contradicting your belief, and seriously you only think about the smiting?...Anyways let me just say that the Science is pretty convincing since there are alot of proves not just mathematically but also with a lot of experiences done in the course of years...now don't come to me saing that I'm an Atheist, I'll tell you right now, I'm an Agnostic, do you know what that is? It means I dont necessarily believe in GOD, although I believe a little, and also the funny thing about being an Agnostic is that I need proof to believe in something, since I know that Math and Science are really accurate and TRUE I believe anything that is proved scientifically...By the way it IS PROVED Scientifically that the Earth is at least 14 billion years old, I know its a lot of years but you can argue with results, thats the beauty of Math...cold hard results.

I think his soul is crying out for Jesus and he doesn't know what to do with that. Being so crusty with sin as it has been for his whole pitiful life, he hears talk of God's Love and he is torn up inside.

A massive star might seem the same size as a closer smaller sun, God do I really have to point this out?

Many of us are blessed with two eyes. This gives us a sense of depth. A large object far away therefore does not look the same as a small object close up. Maybe you need to count your eyes to make sure there isn't a problem. Can you count up to two?

Does the sky look like a big blue tent with clouds moving across it and the sun pinned to it by a loving God when you look up at it? That''s because right in front of you is the firmament of Heaven that you have an ageless description of in Genesis. And yet here you are hating God so much that you want to put something else in its place.

Why else would God tell us of these things? You're trying to have us believe that the God who lovingly made us and has prepared Hell for us to avoid by pleasing Him is a liar. Shame on you, sir!

How about having a 7ft tall guy standing 400 yards away and have a 4ft tall guy standing 200 yards in front of him?

I'm not sure the exact measurements so don't pick holes in the equation, disprove the point i'm making, they may look the same size but in fact they are not, it's because their distances are different.

Next class, maybe I'll explain to you how to tie your shoelaces.
