Yes, the asbestos scare was another government hoax like global warming. With everyone getting rid of asbestos, it a bargain and the original church planters knew a good deal when they saw it.

Amen, brothers. And I would add that the reason we haven't had to replace our asbestos walls is because of another old Landover Tradition...When the church is re-whitewashed every Spring, we use lead paint to seal it all up good. And when it chips off, maintenance men repaint the spots that have eroded eventually.

I came up with an analogy for what the world would be if this exists. God is the mayor of a major city, Satan is the president of a very big media company, the city is the world, and we are the inhabitants. God creates a system of laws but only tells one single person, that person lists them in an internet website for all to see, this site is vague and at times confusing. But then Satan makes 500 additional sites that make a lot more sense and tend to contradict the site that lists the laws. Even worse, another 500 sites are made that contain different laws that are claimed to be the real laws. Every once and a while, god makes a billboard that says to look at the site that contained his laws but not very often and not a lot of people see it, while Satan makes 100 other billboards that contradict that. God, being the mayor, has every ability to destroy or at least limit Satan's company but chooses not to for some reason. Now, whoever follows these laws is given a million dollars and a penthouse apartment, whoever does not is sent to the city prison which for some reason is also run by Satan.

Son, that is a terrible analogy. God is not the mayor, He is the creator. A better analogy would be a creator deciding what to do with His creation. Paul speaks of this when he compares people to clay pots (Romans 9:20-24). Some clay pot may whine and complain because they don't get to be whatever clay pot they want to be (this would be you), but what good is the complaining, ultimately? No good, is the answer, dear. Complain all you want, but it won't change the fact that the Good LORD created you with free will to fear and obey Him (Ecclesiastes 12:13) or choose an eternity of torturous but justified punishment (John 3:18).
