Are we allowed to eat bunny stew?

I have a question for you, my fellow Brothers (and sisters), for I have been hunting, skinning and making delicious bunny stew, following the exquisite recipe by Mrs. Billy Ray ("Sussana Beth"), but then came accross these verses from Leviticus:
    Leviticus 11: 1-8

And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
Does this mean I am not allowed to eat these animals, since the law of the Old Testament still prevails? Please help me brothers (and sisters). As a preliminar measure, I will go out to the river, and wash myself, just in case I am unclean until the evening,

So close to Jesus it itches,

I believe Dr. Hovind to be completely innocent of the alleged crime of "tax evasion", and furthermore believe Hovind's 10 year sentence to be patently unjust and based upon an effort to silence his ministry.

We're not required to make sacrifices because Jesus has given one sacrifice once for all. (Hebr. chap. 9+10)

We don't follow the food laws (Mark 7:15-19, Acts 10:12-16, Rom. 14:1-3) although some True Christians™ still regard lobster with suspicion.

We don't observe OT (=Jewish) holidays (Gal. 4:9-11)

The day of rest is Sunday (Acts 20:7, 1st Cor. 16:2)

The rest of The Old Testament was written by an eternal God who does not change and never repents. Glory!!

Matt. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

        Friend,

I note you are a supporter of the poor martyered Dr Hovind. Now there is a chilling example of what happens when a Christian speaks TRUTH to the Secularist-Scientific elite; tossed into prison on trumped up charges of tax evasion and running an un-zoned amusement park. We can only pray Jesus wipes away Dr Hovind's tears.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Yes, of course I support dear Dr. Hovind's well-thought theories, especially related to the Flood, I am a Geologist after all (Flood Geologist )... I know Baby Jesus must weep so much every time Dr. Hovind is sodomized in prison

YES (Praise Jesus) - since the advent of C.I. Scofield's version of dispensationalism, the food codes fall under Law and (Praise Jesus) we as KJV reading new testament Baptist™ True Christians™ are only subject to Grace. In Peter's dream (Acts 10.10-16) we can now eat literally anything we want, including the dragons and unicorns mentioned in the Old Testament.
Isaiah 36.12 - But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

Of course, the Old Testament still prevails. Do you think God is some waffling, flip-flopping Demoncrat politician? Let me quote God's actual words from the very first book of Moses:

Genesis 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Genesis 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Those were the words - and they are as true today as they were then. Eat'em all: numbats, wombats, moonbats - all kinds of bats. Alleluia.

Don't let the food laws in Leviticus worry you, they only apply to Jews. God made those laws as a punishment for them, because He knew that one day they would kill His only begotten son.

Hmmm what kind of green herb is being referred to here?

                  Leviticus 26:27-29

                  27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

Green herbs bearing seed. God was referring back to His words before the Fall.

Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Genesis 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

As True Christians™ we can't eat ferns, lichens, molds and mosses and mushrooms. Even if some fly mushrooms are green, they don't bear seed.

Seaweeds are a double no-no, since they don't bear seed and don't grow "upon the face of all the earth". Rice is a bit of a theological conundrum since it spends a part of its life-cycle under water.

Added: I found an extensive selection of pamphlets here: Biblical Food Laws
A wise man’s heart inclines him to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left. (Ecclesiastes 10:2)
