First of all, if they're just like myself, they're just like myself. And I'm not hungry. I've just had a frying pan full of bacon-greese-fried egg rolls (I've got to find out which breed the Asians use for the meat. It's not Tabby, That's all I know)

Secondly, God provides for His Flock, so that means the poor are not True Christians. Every poor person I know has been obsessed with where their next meal is coming from. Jesus has commanded the opposite:

Matthew 6:34 Take no thought for the morrow."

Matthew 6.25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.
Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

A rising problem is China. As you know it they're all about copying occident and they want not only big, fuel consuming SUVs but they also want to eat meat twice a day while it was never a part of their culture...

Your every assumption is flawed:

1. If the Chinese eat more meat, that doesn't effect people because chinese livestock doesn't eat grain, or require pasture. Chinese livestock eats mice and small birds, thus actually increasing the amount of food left for people. At least until the hippies start insisting on vegetarian cats.

2. SUVs don't burn fuel, they create it. By intimidating the muslims, by showing that we will stay the course - any course - endlessly, without debate or dissent, they will cause the muslims to give up. Then they'll pump out all the extra oil they've got hidden away, and sell it cheap.

Glory, how many times has "peak oil" been predicted only to have America sneer at it and keep our SUVs? Now there is more oil than we can possibly use, just look the Gulf of Mexico. We Americans persist enough the Muslims will be forced to do what is right (which is also what we Americans want).
