Strange then that the millions of people in those states who are rabidly against abortion and gay marriage have had the same retribution upon them as the ones who support it. I've seen no difference at all between those who have supported abortion and gay marriage and those who have been against it and who was devastated by the storm. Funny how that works. Your god has an odd way of treating people the same way whether they do the right thing or not. What is he trying to tell them? That no matter where they stand they get slammed? Looks to me as if he doesn't give a fig what people think or where they stand on "moral" issues. He treats them all the same. We know the LORD is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14) and therefore will not share our affection with demons (Exodus 20:5). Nor will He tolerate an immoral people who incorporate the worship of other gods into their culture (Joshua 23:7). The United States is beginning to do just that - incorporate worship of other gods. These gods aren't Greek this time, but they are the gods of secularism, political correctness, feelgoodism. The east coast states that are being judged righteously through this hurricane are being judged for their appeasing these humanist gods by celebrating sodomy and abortion.
