here is my take on this subject....
i have smoked marijuana, i have ate it, and i have vaporized it.
i suffer no delusions.
i have a 3.798 GPA at the university of Texas so apparently it does not destroy my minds capabilities.
when i smoke weed i dont just sit around and make a waste of my life. it calms my A.D.H.D. down so i can study, workout, and pay attention in class.
i grew up in a christian household both of my parents very strong believers and neither of them see a problem in smoking pot, especially since alcohol is one of the top killers in our nation, but that is still legal and highly excepted.
Oh and if you say that God is against alcohol then i believe you would be wrong about that as well. (Jesus made water into wine and wine is an alcoholic beverage)
plus in the Bible (the ten commandments in fact) say
3 "You shall have no other gods before me.
4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.

so i gather out of this that as long as you don't put marijuana before your relation ship with God and you don't make weed your god then God will still love you and accept you.

p.s.

if your other argument against marijuana is that it is illegal, then touceh, it is illegal here in most of the 50 states, but a little fun fact is that marijuana has been in american history ever since we established Government here. Our original white house contained a "smoke room" which was a large open room where the leaders of our nation smoked both tabacco and cannibus out of papers, pipes, and hookahs. numerous numerous historical figures smoked marijuana simply because it eased their pain from battles and in some cases queens of kingdoms consumed some form of cannibus to ease menstrual cramps.

He says that he who is without sin may cast stones.

The only thing hemp was ever good for was supporting the war effort and farm use.

Hemp for Victory is an old documentary encouraging farmers to support the war effort by growing hemp. Unfortunately, the hippies would take after their rodent friends and get in the gardens of decent civilized folk and hemp had to be outlawed to prevent the proliferation of hippies. Didn't you ever wonder why the sixties didn't last? Because they outlawed hemp! If it wasn't for the damn hippies, we could be using hemp to make livestock bedding and feed, but no. I don't have a "potty mouth" any more than anyone else on this site. I wasn't suggesting that people should just smoke for no reason at all... I am just saying there are a lot of studies that have shown it COULD actually be safer than half the pharmaceuticals out there, that are causing other serious health issues and CONTAMINATING our water supplies.

In all honesty, I feel that Christians need to be a little more open minded about ***. It has a lot of good uses, and is a heck of a lot safer than half of the *************** that fix one problem and create a million more. And how dare you force your interpretation on everyone... who do you think you are? For the record, "meat" could have meant anything to ingest or consume. I think you should read more about the benefits of ******* before crapping out of your mouth.

You guys are an insult to the Christian faith AND the secular law as far as I am concerned. And just to think, all of these people browsing the internet, searching for legitimate answers only to be misguided by crap like this...

I'm not going to tell you that you are going to hell, because that's not my place. Only God knows that. However... the words on this website may influence millions. If influenced incorrectly, for not using your brain before giving advice, how do you think God is going to look at that? Seems like a bunch of cows on this website following the herd instead of God.
