I don't understand MCR. It's not like they ever even get any radio play or anything. Their music is boring. It was boring when it was new wave music in the 80's.

I searched on youtube for one of their random videos. I found the one with the most views. 2.7 million views, rather low for copyrighted stuff.

It has a disco back beat that was common in the 1970's. The singing sounds crappy like the White Stripes or Jane's Addiction, but without any of the creativity or something even remotely interesting to say.

I have to say, it sucks even by secular music standards.

I'm listening to another song of theirs now.

It has a Tool knockoff sound that devolves into a power ballad chorus straight from a contemporary Christian song. I like this better than the last song, but it's still just not very good.

Not that I'm interested in that rock n roll jungle music anymore.

all the best bands don't get radio play. i hardly listen to the radio now because i hate half the music on there.
Planetary (GO!) is just supposed to be a fun song. it's like a Killjoy victory song so obviously it's going to be happy and upbeat.
and don't bring the white stripes into this (even though i am suprised you know who they are...)
And sing is NOTHING like Tool (again I am SHOCKED to know that you what Tool is! so i congratulate you on that) i know every tool song and none of them sound like Sing. The lyrics of sing are very straight and to the point, Sing it for the boys, Sing it for the girls everytime that you lose it sing it for the world. which to me means every time you lose it, whether or angry, upset, or anything, turn in to something positive, example, when the earthquake hit japan, they used this song to raise money to help Japan rebuild.
listen to their Black Parade stuff, that album is ART, everything about it is just amazing, the story line, the music, everything. it's just, awesome.

So, I read all these replies....some of the people make both My Chem fans and Christians sound like....I don't know the word, but it's not a good one.

My Chemical Romance have lyrics that are full of beauty and meaning. SING is, like what some have said, singing out when you're hurting or angry or feeling strongly about something. They are not demonic either.
Also, the radio...the music radio stations play just plain sucks. Green Day has songs on movie soundtracks quite often and they are never on the radio.
Also, My Chemical Romance doesn't have lyrics calling women "bitches" and "hoes" or just singing about getting money and shooting things unlike rap, which sucks.
Now onto another thing.
Where in the Bible does it say that people will burn in hell if they sin?
When people die their spirits leave their bodies, return to God and they lie in their graves/urns until the day Jesus returns. Until that day happens, people who die are pretty much asleep. They know nothing of what goes on with us living folk. Nothing at all.
And don't anybody give me a verse in w/e chapter and tell me that says it when it actually doesn't. I'm tired of that happening.
Ok, I don't want to start rambling about stuff so...yeah.
I admit, there are "fans" who go over the edge at times. Not EVERY My Chemical Romance fan loves to read gay stuff about them. I don't. I hate it infact. I write My Chemical Romance fanfiction. It doesn't have gay things in it. Jokes, yes, serious stuff, no.
There are also Christians who go over the edge by shoving their beliefs down peoples' throats and going on about burning in the flames of Hell. That makes God sound like a douche when he isn't.
I should have waited until morning to do this when I'm not so tired. I have more to say, but my brain wants to shut down and sleep.

Maybe she was just predisposed towards suicide. In psychology I learned that there is a spot in a persons brain that can be a home to suicidal tendencies. So don't blame other people for her action.
