When people die their spirits leave their bodies, return to God and they lie in their graves/urns until the day Jesus returns. Until that day happens, people who die are pretty much asleep. They know nothing of what goes on with us living folk. Nothing at all.

If the spirit left the body and returned to God, then how could the person be unknowing in death (as it says in Ecclesiastes 9:5)? Unless you're saying that the spirit has no knowledge and is not representative of the self; in that case, what is the point of its existence?

There are also Christians who go over the edge by shoving their beliefs down peoples' throats and going on about burning in the flames of Hell. That makes God sound like a douche when he isn't.

No, God is not a douche. He is very specific about who gets into Heaven and who doesn't, though.

As you partly-correctly pointed out, our spirits don't jet to an eternal reward (or punishment) at death. We are unknowing until Judgment.

That's covered in Revelation 20-22. Read it.

God will resurrect every person who ever lived, into immortal bodies. All the sinners (that is, every non-Christian of any sort, no matter how "nice" a person, and everyone who called himself a Christian but continued to sin) will be cast by God into His Lake of Fire, Hell, where they will be burned alive for all eternity, unable to die and unable to escape.

Now, some might say, "Why doesn't God just leave the sinners dead and unknowing? That'd seem more loving than resurrecting them just to torture them forever."

This makes the mistake of assuming that God loves sinners. It should be apparent by now that no, He hates them. Enough to resurrect them from unknowing death and then burn them alive forever!

That's not a future I'd wish on anyone. Would you?

Whom I have met. And I don't know what they believe, but I do know that they do not worship satan. Because I stalk them as much as I can, without leaving the house. I stalk their twitters and I've seen pretty much every interview they've been in. I've looked at every single lyric they've written and studied it down to the bone. Not once have I ever found anything even closely related to "worshiping satan".

I don't understand how being an alcoholic and or addict means that's what you do. It sure as hell does not. Gerard was depressed; he was picked on since elementary school because he always had a knack for music - he would sing in musicals and stuff. He wasn't the thinnest kid and, since he got picked on for advancing in music, he stopped that and picked up in art. The bullying didn't stop. But eventually he got to art school and basically he drew then wallowed in depression in his mother's basement (literally). He started drugs and alcoholism, and I don't blame him. His life was going nowhere, and he needed some form of release and numbness. Basically all he did was play music, draw, tour, and sleep, until he quit it all, cold turkey, in a matter of 17 days. So don't go around assuming shit about people you know nothing about. Alright?
