You know what... you are right... You have called my bluff. I am unhappy. It's all a front. Us atheists are probably the loneliest, sorriest bunches of subhumans on the planet. All of us, in fact, secretly know Jesus wants us back... but we ignore his calling to fulfill our own selfish desires. I know Satan has me by the coconuts... but I don't know what else to do. I have no doubt that YOUR encounters with atheists have been unpleasant, especially when starting the conversation with the topic of Jesus. Next time, why don't you leave religion out of it and actually get to know them... or even (if you must talk about religion) Why they believe what they do.

You think I have not tried this tactic? I have asked them many times why they are so lost.... Why they hate God so much.... Why they wont accept Jesus Christ into their hearts....

I try to explain to them that God will cast them into the firey pits of Hell, with all the negros and the fags, if they keep turning their back on him. That their eyes will melt in their sockets, and their skin will burn off their bones, as they are tortured for an eternity - IF they ignore their chance of Salvation.

I try to make them see sense, but It gets me nothing but abuse in return, when I am only trying to save their souls.

It can't be healthy to be so full of hate.

That's funny, because I've NEVER met a happy Atheist! Everytime I go up to one, and try to tell them about the love of Jesus Christ, they respond with nothing but anger and cuss-words! I've had Bible tracts thrown back in my face, had them spit at me, and been subject to all sorts of abuse, for just trying to help them! Happy atheists? You're joking, right?

I hear you Brother Percy. The atheists are always calling us names and telling us good and true Christians to shut up. If the atheists had more love in their hearts like we Christians do we Christians wouldn't have to attack them so much.

Probably because it's dealt with on a regular basis. Same way that you guys react (from what I've seen on this website) to say... a Muslim coming in and preaching that you all will burn eternally if you don't accept his beliefs, and preaching the love of Mohammad. I've seen the "Christians" here act extremely hostile here.. including the use of horrendous language.

The funniest thing is... the atheists that I know are actually about 3x happier than any Christian I've ever met. It's crazy. The atheists tend to be more cynical up front, while the Christians just grin... but when you are invited into their houses and get to know them, things become very different.

The atheists have been extremely open, and very content with their lives. Easy going, not stressed and have seemed to genuinely care about the company and well being of others. Possibly the closest I've seen to altruistic behavior.

The "hardcore" Christians I have gotten to know have all shown themselves to be very scared, frightened people. Many of which "breakdown" when they are away from the public-eye due to stress. I can only assume that believing you are a miserable, worthless creature that is only saved by the grace of another could do that to someone. I've also found that they do not have the same general concern for others. Most of the "nice" things they do are "self-motivated" by means of avoiding hellfire and to impress the Lord.

These are only my observations of course, and I do not say that these description account for everyone within these two groups obviously...
