I believe finding other reasons to expel these "people" from the military is working fine. One of my former neighbor used to be a sniper in the Marines. He was an excellent marksman and not afraid to go into battle, however, he was also rumored to be gay. Apparently, the ralking officer was afraid of what he might do to the other soldiers so they wrote him up for dozens of small things and managed to get him discharged from the military. At least that was the story flying around the neighborhood after he returned home.... He moved after that.

Deaner, my parents go to Protestant church, I love them, and I know they're going to heaven. I don't believe you have to be a Catholic to go to heaven. I believe if you have a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, repented your sins, and live a life glorifying God, you can go to heaven.

Your parents are going to spend eternity in hellfire, just the same as you are. Anyone who rejects Christ the way your family has shouldn't expect anything else.
