Yet when asked for your proof of God's non-existence, nothing.

...The whole point of science is conclusions made using evidence...
Why are you trying to convince others that God doesn't exist when you have no evidence He doesn't?

how can I be disrespectful to something that does not exist. The whole point of science is conclusions made using evidence. Just because we have never seen a multiverse does not mean that there is some compelling evidence to support the theory, but not enough flr it to be declared fact.

Cause He will send you to hell if you touch yourself or have sex before marriage.

Pretty simple, isn't it? If you knew an earthquake was going to happen in your city and the others didn't know, wouldn't you at least try to tell as many as possible?

Nobody believes in the heliocentric model as proposed by Copernicus, but the heliocentric model of the solar system, with the sun at the centre is correct, but it is not at the centre of the Milky way or the universe.

As I previosuly posted, some of the questions you asked are irrelevant to science like what us the purpose of suffering. Religion tries to answer these questions but there is no evidence to see that what it says is true.

You saying that the evidence is in the form of the bible is just like me saying that the evidence for wizards, magic wands and flying broomsticks is the Harry Potter books.
Can you stop beeing so discrespectfull to Jesus?
You know, Science is the one who has no evidence.
Like you guys could talk weeks about multiverses and you never seen a multiverse. Then u do some "experiments" just to find out the Bible was right all along.

By the way Harry Potter is a product of the gay agenda which is a product of science.

Between diets and deities, I assume that you mean the latter?

Whether it be Poseidon, Jupiter, Odin, Allah or indeed Jesus. Many of these things that were once attributed to a god are now explained by science. Whether creationists like it or not, gravity, evolution, heliocentrism, spherical earthism and others are 100% fact.
I don't think any scientists today believe in heliocentric model of the universe as proposed by Copernicus (see my reply to your post in another thread).

This means that God is simply the god of the gaps left in scientific knowledge. At the begining of the 21st century, we don't know everything about the universe, but the amount that has been gained in knowledge each century is stupendous. This shows that the idea of 'god' is simply an ever receding pocket of scientific ignorance, getting smaller and smaller as time moves on.
You're assuming that people need religion just to answer questions about how the world works. If that were true, then today we'd have a lot of atheists in the world - given the indisputable advances of science in the past few centuries. You're forgetting that religions also address issues which science will never be able to provide answer for, such as: What is the purpose of life? What is the purpose of suffering? Where do we come from and where do we go after we die?

I imagine that they used the same reasons you do to try and prove their god's existence, what makes your God any different?
We have the evidence in the form of the Holy Bible.

This shows that the idea of 'god' is simply an ever receding pocket of scientific ignorance, getting smaller and smaller as time moves on. Also, the research into genetics by Prof Richard Dawkins has shown that the entire point to life is to pass on genetic information, allowing time for mutations to occur and evolution to continue. This shows that Deoxyribonucleic acid is the reason we are the way we are, not some supernatural daddy up in the sky. Something else to think about is the fact that religion runs in families. If you are born in the USA you are likely to become a Christian merely on the fact that that is what the people around you believe. If you were born in ancient greece, you would be worshipping Zeus, if you were born in Viking times you would be worshipping Wotan or Thor. I imagine that they used the same reasons you do to try and prove their god's existence, what makes your God any different?

I look forward to hearing your responces to my questions, and I must say you have been one of the more polite people on this forum in responce to me, and using actual arguments in responce to my questions. for that I thank you.

I would agree with you if I were a lonely Christian crusading on a filthy atheist forum. However, may I remind you, that here you are the lonely intruder who denies the existence of God. Hence, the burden of proof lies with you.

as until evidence he does exist is brought forward, it is logical to assume he does not. Nowdays we also have a more in depth analysis of langauges from the studies performed on them
It's one thing to study a language and know its vocabulary and grammar, and it's an entirely different thing to live in a language and master the nuances of idiomatic expressions. For example - I am fluent in three languages and on my way to being fluent in the fourth one, which includes written and spoken language as well as deep knowledge of culture. I also learned a couple of other languages, but I never had a chance to master my knowledge living in a culture that speaks them (in case of Latin that would be impossible, given that there are no living native speakers of it - and the same caveat goes to today's scholars who study other dead languages).

God could not have placed all the fossils there because he does not exist

Proof is when something has been proven by evidence, faith is believing without evidence. If you have proof, you have no need for faith, and if you have faith but not proof, then you are clearly in need of some proof.
You do know only the joo part was in Hebrew, right?

You do know that when you make the claim that God doesn't exist, the burden of proof is on you, right?

You do know that claiming people know more today about a language than the people who actually spoke that language is somewhat retarded, right?

...Young earth creationism has been proved wrong by many things: carbon dating, rock dating, tectonic plates, fossils, the moon and even the Earth's orbit...
Or (as I've already said, and you rudely ignored), God placed all of that evidence in order to fool people into going to Hell.

...Many fossils were found be famous fossil hunter Mary Anning, who was in fact, a Christian...
If she believed anything but that God created the universe, the world, and all life forms, and did it in six days, then... she wasn't a Christian.

Didn't I already cover the difference between proof and faith? Yeah, I did, and oh you ignored that, too. I should really stop being so ignorant, huh?
