OK look -- the whole point is that BRAILLE is evil -- not blindness. Well, blindness can be due to evil, but not always necessarily so.

Braille is an attempt to end-run God's plan. People are blind for a reason. It is either to punish them, or humble them, or to glorify God. It is a thorn in the flesh.

As Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

See (metaphorically, for those blind people following this topic) what Paul is saying? Don't fight it, but instead rejoice in it! Don't use braille as your crutch (pun intended), but use God instead. His grace is sufficient for you. Trying to deal with your infirmaries on your own or with the constructs of heathens is just a prideful way of challenging God and His right to inflict you, and you won't learn anything in that mode of rebellion.

If you don't have eyes. then let the Holy Spirit be your eyes. When you start leaning on God, then (and only then) will you begin to receive your blessings!

I see it as a way for them to move on and cope with there blindness. How would you feel if you became blind and could no longer read The Bible.

First, I'd figure out why God blinded me. If it was something I did, I'd repent. If it was because of something someone else did,, I'd beg them to repent. I'd then pray that God heard my please and my begging of forgiveness and then maybe, just maybe, he would return my sight. But at the least, I would know I did what was right and that at least I'd get to spend eternity in heaven.
If I did not spend my time repenting, God is not going to care if I cannot read the Bible.

I'm fortunate enough to have excellent health and a boat. On many occasions I've taken those less fortunate than myself fishing. I assume you'd call that Christian love.
