Hmmm from what I'm reading it means that disabled people can't approach or come close to the alter. That still doesn't mean that they are to be treated like a pile of s***. I am amazed at how badly out of context the scripture is being read . God breathed his very own breath of life into every living human being in existence . What if you were blind , deaf or mute? My grandmother who is deaf, has been blessed by God himself with the gift of visions and dreams , and I will tell you this, they have never been wrong. Why would God bless my grandmother with this, if she is supposed to be discriminated against, by the likes of you?

In the Bible evil demons are often the cause of longterm illness and disablement - is your grandmother perhaps possessed?

Friend, you seem to not understand the severity of the situation. Someone who would turn their backs on God in such a blatant show of disdain deserves no such mollycoddling. If the LORD has determined they are to be fodder for the Lake of Fire for ever and ever, why would we then go and offend Him more by snuggling up to the condemned when the real victim here is left all alone. If you love your grandmother, you would tell her to repent of her evil ways and beg the LORD's forgiveness, lay down at His Feet as it were, and hope for His Mercy.

Read Leviticus 19:14

What is the Bible saying here.
"Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord." And yet only 2 chapters later, it says that the blind may not come to the altar.
My friend, I think you're reading too much into it; you're interpreting it, rather than reading what it says.


Why shouldn't one curse the deaf? Because they can't hear the curse and are therefore unable to defend themselves.
Why shouldn't one put a stumbling block in the path of the blind? Because they'd trip over it. We forget what a stumbling block is - something we would literally stumble over. Yes, we may use the term for other things now, but it wasn't used that way then, or even in 1611 (the time of the KJV Bible). Read it literally, not with modern twists.

So, don't cause the blind to fall over by tripping him up. But that doesn't mean the blind should not be discriminated against.

I promise you now, I will never curse your grandmother to her face. That would be cruel, as she would be unable to hear me to defend herself.
