Techincally Wicca was founded in the (1920's or 1950's no one's really sure?)

The guy who invented Wicca published the book that teaches how to practice it in 1954, so it was in the 1950's.

but, it is based on ancient pagan religions, so it is both modern and ancient.

Meaning he didn't have any original ideas, so he just created a hodgepodge of stuff he thought was interesting from elsewhere.

After spending some time reading everything on this site and forum i'm here to give you all the FACTS about my religion!

Did you know that wicca is actually OLDER than christianity?? Bet that gets your attention!

We believe in a god and goddess who are male and female and represent the two sides to everything in life, like day/night black/white and good/bad. WE DO NOT BELIEVE OR WORSHIP SATAN!

Yes some wiccans practice magick but it is not "evil." Our religion is based on the wiccan rede An it harm none, do what ye will.Many also believe that everything we do comes back to us THREE times over so we always make sure to do what is right.

Wiccans are not deceived or evil so stop saying that!!

however it is an off branch from paganism, and please befor you start to shout demons etc. paganism is not all bad it embraces nature, yes there are some bad aspects in the past but hey all religons have that.

but as I was saying paganism is older than christianity as christianity absorbed some items from paganism, and changed them. this was due to the roman empire who wanted a state religon for all of there subjugated peoples to relate to.

All "religions" which existed before Christ came (except Judaism, of course) are called "paganism". It's a blanket term for non-monotheistic cults.

The term is also used as the equivalent of Polytheism (q.v.). There is no one "paganism".

Wicca, along with all modern "pagan" cults, are partial reconstructions based upon picking and choosing the bits of historical records people like, and making up rituals around them.

There is no continuous line. Gardner made that up, just as he stole most of his source material from Aleister Crowley, who got the bulk of his rituals from the Freemasons . . . who made it up.

Care to learn something? Read this online book about Freemasonry. It was written in 1920. It explains the first, second, and third degree rituals, their origins, and the meanings they share with the people they're initiating.

The meanings are lies, because they're actually initiating them into either atheism or Satanism, depending upon the lodge. You'll see when you read the rituals how it can go either way.

You need to remember two things. First, the devil knew that Christ would come to die temporarily for our sins, so he pre-stole aspects of Christianity and revealed them to the pagans so that they could create religions confusingly similar to Christianity and thereby lure more people into hell. Second, the "Christianity" created by Constantine was not True Christianity™ at all, but instead the beginning of the Roman Catholic system, so of course it included pagan elements.
