Further proof that the Romanists taught you false doctrine. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a parking lot makes you a car. Let me quote you something from that book that you can't be bothered to read:

Matthew 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Quite right! God wrote the Bible in English and demands that everyone speak it exclusively!

But on the very firrst page of the Bible, it's written "translated into English from other languages". Why?
some people ask: why would a perfect god create a universe with so much misery and danger?
I think that have missed a greater enigma..., why would a perfect god create a universe ... at all?

Because you are reading the wrong Bible.

No, that is the correct version. The introduction was probably added as a sop to the Church of England crowd.

What did you get? You haven't made it past the introduction yet!

Get to reading! At least get through Genesis, then tell us how God promotes this "tolerance" you keep going on about.

About my little comment in French, and the comment it received, I was just pointing out to Bert/Bub that he's no the only one here who can speak more than one language. But I shan't make a habit of typing in French.

Excuse me for this small post in French, I hope Jesus will forgive me.

Where is it written in the Bible that God speaks English?

HE wrote the true Bible in English, that's proof enough right there.

And I have to respond in French... I can't help that either, it's a linguistic compulsion. As soon as Bub is allowed to send and receive PM's, I'll keep all my further French-ness away from the forum. *Bows politely* Please forgive me.)
