I recently received a rather offensive email from an abusive Goth, who was for some reason angry at my What can you do if your daughter refuses to marry her rapist?? Article.

In her email she 'claimed' to be 'horrified' by my article? She told me I was apparently a 'heartless ignorant bigot sexist caveman', and told me she herself had been a rape-victim... like that's any surprise??

It's a well known FACT that the rape statistics are extremely high within the Gothic subculture. But then what do they expect? If you dress like a hooker, men will treat you like a hooker. You play, you pay!

That little wretch just infuriated me yesterday is all. To have the cheek to come onto a Godly forum like this, and specifically target ME for abuse is just cruel and sick! These Goth freaks have some nerve.

But she did seem genuinely surprised she was raped? Even though she was probably parading around in next-to-nothing, torn fishnet stockings, PVC hotpants, make-up plastered on like a filthy little slut, and flaunting her half-naked at the boy. Then she expects to say 'no', when her body's telling him yes? I don't think so!

She deserved all she got! That's what I told her. I also told her I hoped she was pregnant with cancer-ridden retard children, and that she had caught AIDS and other STDs, and died. Son, that's EXACTLY what you said. Why do you think this doesn't apply? If anything, it applies MORE. Because let me tell you - you don't get anymore haughty than Goths! To be honest, I feel more sorry for the good Christian girls who are raped by goths. Satanic freaks who creep into good Christian homes late at night, looking for an innocent virgin to rape. Though I have no doubt these so-called Christian girls must have done something to deserve it. They must have ticked God off for some reason, perhaps they didn't pray hard enough? Who knows? They see these women as willing to get raped, but they don't want to be raped, they just want to dress in clothes that look nice to them!!! What if women raped men every time they saw one with a shirt off? Thinking "oh he was asking for it that slutty guy, he was not wearing a shirt" don't you see the messed up logic in this?
And by the way, you can't "see" how a persons mind is by looking at their clothes! Who of you always keeps a first impression of new people you meet?

Also this is a classic example of people like yourselves, standing outside another world than your own, the first response is fear, then anger. I had a goth time in my life, i didn't sacrifice animals, i didn't sleep around with boys, i didn't worship satan (well i don't believe in either god or satan). To me it was all about the clothes that was oh so cool! It looked nice to me simply, and the music that i liked listening to, i didn't pay attention so much to lyrics, i just listened because the overall song was nice. Now this is basically almost the case with every goth out there, most of them just teenagers trying something that seems cool.
But you are not satisfied with that are you? You have to make up all kinds of theories about how evil they are. When infact, they are just normal kids.
