Actually I believe in God because he is an Awesome God Did you miss this weekend? It was the celebration of Jesus dying for our sins and being resurrected so that we could be saved!

I just don't understand why you atheists think we need to be "cured". After all we're happy! Is it the old adage of "misery loves company"? Are you so unhappy that you can't stand the idea of Christians being happy?

Hate is never good. If a person does not believe in god or believes in another god than you, It´s because that person was raised in a family with that belief.

Muslims and atheists believe in their world-view just as fervently as christians do, and for the same reasons. You were told that the Bible is the word of god, muslims the Qu`ran and atheists are taught to believe in what can be proven and ask questions when something doesn`t seem right.

If god hates an innocent small child which has been told that there is no god, that doesn´t seem fair to me.

If you really want Atheists to believe in god, i think it´s counter-productive to curse at them and tell them that they´re scum. I´m not asking you to post scripture which says that non-believers are scum, i´m just telling you it´s gonna make matters worse.

Now you´re just being childish. The very phrase atheist scum is clearly biased. Atheists vote in the poll to show that they are proud of being atheists, no matter what sort of prejudice you hold against them. A lot of people here claim to be insulted by atheists all the time, but it seems to be the other way around.

I´m just saying, if you claim to be speaking for god, it wouldn´t hurt your case to act like the bigger man.
