Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Why would we sanction something that is deserving of a death sentence?

and also im actually not a Mormon at all. i think that gay marriage is fine. as long as they dont come near me or try and hook up with me. im fine. i just want to know from a die hard christian like you what you think.

Hmm...what do you mean "really don't abide by it"? You best not abide by it at all! It is a false heretical version of Christianity. Sure the Mormons might good allies in the political arena when it comes to striking down gay marriage initiatives, but in a religious sense, they are completely wrong.

God has given us the truth and that lies in the 1611 King James Bible. Nothing more, nothing less!

I seriously doubt you are here to have a genuine religious discussion with that screen name. To answer your questions, for starters, the Book of Mormon was a hoax perpetrated by Joseph Smith so he could have a harem of women. It's also completely contrary to what the Bible commands of us....
