Thousands of small white and red flags symbolizing Iraq war deaths spread like flowers in front of Reed College and flutter in the breeze at Lewis & Clark College.

The flags -- each representing Iraqi and U.S. deaths -- mark the work of a fledgling student activist group that has sprung up at both campuses: Students for a Democratic Society.

Yes, SDS is back.


The radical student group that shook college campuses during the height of the Vietnam War in the 1960s is budding quietly on campuses across the nation. For baby boomers, SDS evokes images of sit-ins, rallies, marches, clashes with police, students taking over buildings. Or in the case of the Weathermen, an SDS spinoff, blowing up buildings.

I've been trying to find a civil way to address this issue, but have been violently ill since reading it.

Do these idiot punks think they're at a black panther meeting? You'll notice that the girls look like lesbians, and we all know demoncratic make protestors are tree-hugging homers.

I have another mandetory class to add to the college ciriculum(for demoncrats and athiests). It would be called "Democratic Beat Down". At the very least, they should all be sent to a Godly Marine Corps boot camp.

Anyway, as I survey this sickening array of hippies, communists, and other unAmerican deviants, I can't help being struck by the way that a disproportionate amount of these "students" seem to be either geriatrics or small children. It would appear that virtually the entire membership of this "student" group is made up of brainwashed small children eager to play with the big kids, or else senile old fools who've taken 40-odd years to complete a simple college degree. Most worrying, although I suppose it's better than if normal people were being seduced into this sort of deviant behavior. Also, it's noticeable in that last picture that some of them appear to be displaying their radical anarchist beliefs by refusing to hold their signs the right way up. Right on!

The only reason I can think President Bush hasn't tossed all of these traitors into GITMO for some waterboarding is he is just being patient until he lures all the El Quida Sympths out in the open so he can get all of them at once. Free speech? People are also FREE to use their heads and keep their mouths SHUT during a time of WAR. They are also FREE to accept the consequences of their actions, like ending up in prison for undermining America.

I can't believe the lengths some people will go to just to get into Hell. And if that wasn't bad enough, they're taking their children with them! I can predict that these evil-doers will be parking their hybrid SUVs and SmartCars in front of the Gates of Hell before too long! That would be a negative there wolfy. The right to peacable assembly is the one you're looking for. That gives people the right to assemble, not throw rocks and threaten them. Notice the peacable part?

Protesting, screaming, and causing destruction is not peacable assembly. It's called disturbing the peace and destruction of property, but the LIE-beral judges and demoncrats would have you believe that burning the American flag wasn't an act of treason or vandalism.

They say it's okay to throw aids infected blood at Christian Republicans, but it's not okay to assemble in front of an abortion clinic.
