Otherkin is a subculture made up of people who consider themselves non-human or having a connection to a mythical archetype in some way, usually believing to be mythological or legendary creatures.[1][2] The otherkin community grew out of the elven online community of the early-to-mid-1990s, with the earliest recorded use of the term otherkin appearing in early 1996.[3] Outside of their own subculture, otherkin beliefs are often met with controversy.[4] According to diagnosis criteria put forth by mental health professionals, the belief that one is an animal or can be turned into an animal is termed clinical lycanthropy[5], a delusion of varying severity and significance.

I think the last sentence should sum it up nicely. They're "insane", which means they've been possessed by demons to make them think they're animals or elves or little green fairies or whatever. Or perhaps they've been deluded by God that they might be damned:

They're not insane...My friend is an Draconity otherkin and she is a christian...She is not a satanist or possessed by demons. An otherkin is someone who thinks they have a soul of another creature. And my friend feels like a Dragon. I don't blame her. She is what she feels she is.

How many dragons has she "felt", anyway?

According to the APA, she suffers from lycanthropy. That's a treatable mental illness. (Perhaps she's just a furry? Look it up.)

According to the Bible, she has a demon.

Tell me, how many positive references does your "Christian dragon" friend find to dragons in the Bible? I'd suggest she look at Revelation.

She claims that she "feels like" a creature reviled by God and which represents the Antichrist. Yeah, that's a great "Christian" there.

That is absurd. Dragons are the devil incarnate in Christianity. Your friend is a satanist but is too chicken to admit it.

Ignore them Sangui, they are just being mean. I've not heard of the otherkin before, but I must say it rather sounds like they have spent far too long on their video games. But having not met any, I shall reseve judgement untill I do.
Isn't lycanthropy to do with werewolves?

I like the name sagnui. It's my nickname. I don't mind if dragons are devil's creatures becouse i feel a strong connections to them. I have always loved Dragons. My friend think she is a dragon trapped inside a human body. I can't just tell her to stop being what she think she is. And lyhcantropy is about werewolfes. Draconity is another thing.

But...I found out somehting very very bad...When i was with my aunt one time she told me she was a witch..What can i do about THAT ??
