Emily, you are not a True Christian(tm) unless you follow the 1611 KJV Bible 100%, word-for-word, adding and taking away none. Your eagerness to question God's judgement on inflicting retardation seems to me you have a problem with God, not us. Perhaps you should take it up with Him.

Now, let's put this in perspective as well. I am 68 years old and have been a pastor for over 45 years. I have read the Bible cover-to-cover dozens of times in my life, and have written over 2500 articles on Bible study. I am also the host of a televangelist program, which at its peak reached over 90 countries around the world. I say this not to brag, but to display my credentials.

So I am telling you, as a True Christian(tm) pastor, that these retarded people are going straight to Hell. It is not our place as mortal humans to try and decide their fate; that is for God. He, in his infinite knowledge, has deemed them unsuitable for eternal life and we have to respect God's wishes.

I have no problem with judging. In fact, the Bible says that righteous True Christians(tm) have the right to judge...

Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.


I don't know why God has punished them, all I know is that He in his infinite wisdom has chosen to do so. Who am I to question God's affairs? Perhaps an ancestor committed a grave sin and God decided to punish their descendents for it. As you know in the Bible, in many instances God makes punishments last throughout generations...

No one is saying they are not human. They are retarded because God has punished them. There should be no sympathy granted to those who God has inflicted this terrible affliction upon.

One of my friends is mentally retarded and he is the most human person you will ever meet. He has a mind, a heart, and he believes in Christ. Is that supposed to make him a demon? For being born the wrong way?

What part of the bible refers that retarded children or adults are sinful and 'devils'?
