Okay, how do you get 144,ooo from those verses? I thought those were just the 'special' Jews that God decides to save and not the christians present.

I don't. I didn't mention 144,000. But I will be happy to do so. I believe you are referring to Revelation 14. (Ann Coulter's favorite Biblical verses include Revelation 14:9-11). The exact verse is Revelation 14:4"These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."

This means that a certain number of young men are going to get a free pass and will not have to suffer the tribulation. Our best guess is that is the number of young boys who are being buggered by Catlick priests when JESUS returns. Obviously those boys have suffered enough.

    'Firstfruits' does NOT mean homos!

How would you explain Mathew 25, the parable of the 10 virgins? I thought that verse was like a rapture thing. I know there are more parables that I can not think of right now.

I don't 'explain' the Bible. It is completely self-explanatory. But I do help people whose minds have been clouded by SATAN that they cannot see clearly. Matthew 25 is quite simple. It likens the Kingdom of Heaven to ten virgins specifically so MEN can relate to it. We (men) all know that at least half of all women are addle-headed. It is most certainly a parable because women probably don't have souls and can't go to heaven, and the bottom line is literally the bottom line in the Scripture.

Matthew 25:46 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

It is a simple admonition to all men telling them they will be tossed into HELL in an instant if they don't tithe to JESUS sufficiently through Landover Baptist.

Then they say because of Inach,(sp) and how God warned Noah, yada, yada, that God will always let the rightous know before he strikes out with his anger. That was part of what I was taught. But now that I am typing this, surely their were no true christians in Hurricane Katrina and 9/11. I guess nobody there was the chosen elect?

You jump around quite a bit. You have vaulted right out of Matthew and now want Genesis, Hebrews, Luke and Chronicles explained in one fell swoop. You need to come to Bible Study, but, in the mean time, I believe I can puzzle out your question sufficiently to provide an answer. First of all, you mean ENOCH and, by your question, you step in to a blender full of the Heretic traps which GOD cleverly built into the Bible. I cannot possibly cover them all here; it would require another Doctoral dissertation. But I can tell you exactly what to read.

You are referring to Hebrews 11, but there is MUCH MORE to the story. For instance, people are routinely taught that Enoch did not die but ascended directly to Heaven by FALSE CHRISTIAN ministers who misunderstand Genesis 5:22-24. The Bible doesn't say that. The Book of Enoch says that, but it is not Holy Scripture. In fact, many of the HERETIC TRAPS in the Bible derive from the Book of Enoch. If you come across one of these seeming contradictions, you must be able to understand from whence it came and why it is mentioned. If you do, you can safely avoid the trap.

Which brings me to pre-trib, mid-trib, and end-trib or whatever. then the 7 years of triblulation.

That sends us right back to MATTHEW! The tribulation is clearly explained in Matthew 24.

So the rapture word is not even in the bible. Do you think some will be waiting forever or maybe some need to figure out who will take care of their pets when they are zipped out of here in a twinkling of and eye? They really need that in their will or some legal document.

When JESUS returns with a sword in his mouth, all must cast down their plowshares and pick up swords. The battle of Armageddon begins right then and the Rightous will kill the Unrighteous. All pets and most small children will be eaten during the battle. We are also warned against false prophets like Hal Lindsey who wrote the heretical book 'The late, great planet earth', for which he will burn in HELL for eternity. He predicted the end of the world by 1988, 40 years after the reestablishment of Israel by mis-interpreting Matthew 24:34 " Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

I was born the same week Israel was re-established as a nation, so we we do know that I will be alive to see JESUS' return. It can't be long now!

Then there is... the dead in christ shall rise to meet him in the air. Hhhmm, I wonder if that is teaching 'soul sleep' and noone that are dead are in hades or paradise at the moment. Then the great white throne of judgment(when the 7 years is done) when god basically DID keep track of all our sins even though he says that * he forgets them as far as the east and west. I am ramblin now.... It was a long day.

I covered that earlier in this thread, but it bears repeating:

"There is not ONE iota of Scripture that mentions a rapture until all the dead have risen and all the heathens have been killed at Armageddon.

This entire 'rapture' idea is based loosely upon 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 and Matthew 24:29-31 and most certainly does not apply to anyone except God's Elect, which are the Landover Pastors.

Common people should not get the idea they are going to be 'raptured'. They aren't. It shall be your duty to follow JESUS into battle and kill ten of the enemy before allowing yourselves to be killed.
    "

Grrr, this subject always confuses me...
A little less beer and a bit more tithing will set you right!

    God Bless

But they do teach this kind of thing....hmmmm...They will be here during the trib. I only know this because I used to live next door to them. They gave me more tracks/pamphlets then coupons I got from the paper.

I understand. You go to churches and listen to ministers. They have no clue. They just want you to come back next week for another dose of "I'm OK, you're OK" and toss another double sawbuck into the plate. But we at Landover follow what the Bible ACTUALLY SAYS. Many are called to God, but few are chosen because they simply refuse to listen.

Look at almost any new poster to the forum. The first thing they say is "I was taught that God loves all His children" and they want to argue about it. Can they show me that in Scripture? No. It isn't there. The next thing they say is some daffodil nonsense about "Jesus came back and changed the Law of God". Is THAT in the Bible? No. What did Jesus REALLY SAY?
Matthew 5 contains JESUS' exact words from the Sermon on the Mount.

Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

There it is, DIRECT FROM JESUS! No one can argue against that, but they do. And then they get mad when we tell them they are wrong. But they won't go and look it up or, if they do, they don't believe their own Bible. Maybe they think we magically changed it during the last few seconds, but we didn't. Those people are doomed to the pit, plain and simple.

Praise Jebus, that is a lot of air space! Okay because I just wanted to add one more verse and another couple of lines. Sorry I am so programedfrom another board and all the rules.Thank you.It is Labor day weekend! What have you all done so far? I hope you did your devotions, (hopefully not Beth Moore stuff) cuz that would be true labor in itself. And prayer time in the closet.I could not get those evil family members out of my house. They just wanted to talk about Dave Ramsey and that 10% tithes thing. Then that reminded me to go to Walmart and stock up on groceries. That I did. They had the cutest kids clothes on sale. (I prayed before I went to find the sweatshop bargains)My bedtime is 2 am this morning. I do have to run tomorrow sometime.(like 4 miles) But I think there should be just a thread in this forum for just a certian fun chat for certian well saved memebers. hint..Peace and goodwell to LOB!!! Until we meet again.

I think we both need to claim that verse right now!!
