First of all, try to take me seriously and open ur minds, im not here to critisize u, but to help u even if u think differently. Dont let yourselves be blinded by ur faith. Theres nothing wrong with ur faith in god. However from the few things ive read on here, u guys are extreme in ur beliefs. Please take the time to read this, it is for your own good after all.

I probably wont get through to most of u, but hopefully i can make some of u better people. Again i will say im not here to criticize u.

So im gonna start off with things ive seen and what i think of them:
1) "Women are not equal".
Totally bogus alot of ur views are outdated and women are just as worthy of men. There are bad women, there are bad men. There are good women. There are good men.
2) "Homosexuality is wrong and u will go to hell for ur sin".
Again very outdated. Gays are people too. I personally dont think gay relationships shud really happen, but they do and i have no problem with them. They are entitles to their own beliefs and feelings as well as everyone else. some maybe just confused, but there will be alot of them that u wont be able to change, and thats nothing to do with them being evil or sinners. The last sentence includes everyone else.
3) "Blacks are sinners, so are <insert country/race here>".
Again these are real people and u have no right to be racist and shud have the same rights as everyone else. I am willing to guess that pretty much none of u have ever left your own country, so really why should u have such a strong opinion on people you kno nothing about. Some of u may also of had bad experiences from a specific race, but u shoud kno that goes for any face including ur own.
4) "Disney channel is evil".
Dont even kno where u got that from, its entertainment for kids, stories used to be told and now tvs have become one source like it.
5) " Sex before marriage is wrong/Sex is sinful"
Tbh i didnt read the former part but u probably believe it anyway, ur entitled to ur opinion, but u shud remember people will have their beliefs too and just coz its different to urs doesnt mean theyre wrong, ever thought maybe u r wrong (not sayin u r). Sex is a pleasure that people enjoy and can bring people to have close relationships. We all kno sex is abused, but remember people have their views too. Also u say that prostitution is wrong. Maybe so but its still one of the oldest professions ever and possibly alot of them are forced into it and shud not be judged for that.
6) "Vegetarians are misguided"
We have incisors that are built to cut through meat, there's something called the food chain and we are entitled to eat meat. That is my opinion. However animals are treated cruelty and their soul is killed for us to consume their bodies. If u have ever had a pet, you would kno that they have their own character and feelings too. So vegetarians have the right to their beliefs.

There will be other views that i have missed but this thread should cover all you need to know. I hope you all can be better people, even though realistically not all of you will. If there is a god, u may go to hell for that, i personally think as long as ur intentions are good, and deep down ur a good person, u will go to heaven, otherwise u should be able to redeem yourself if you find how wrong you have been and are sorry as this is the fairest way and i believe in fairness. (im still not being critical, read on as im almost done)

We are all equal in this world. If u do reply please dont use bible quotes as they wont mean anything to me. Im sort of agnostic in the fact that god may exist, but im also open to the fact that there may not be one. DO NOT TRY TO COMMENT ON MY FAITH AS THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS THREAD IS FOR. This thread is to try to make u more open to other peoples values making u a better person. After all, would god really like you with all your judgements. Blacks, gays, women are all his creation and u have no right to criticize his work. We are all unique and thats what makes us great. You should respect everyone for theyre beliefs because im sure u wud like the same, and everyone deserves equal rights. Im willing to bet that alot of u get criticized and/or made fun of alot, and that will partly be because of ur extreme views that are misguided. I believe life is about being happy and being the best person u r. God would want you to love ur fellow men and women whoever they may be and what they believe in. Also another little tip would not to impose ur religion (or views as i have saying all in this thread) too strongly on other people.

There wasnt really a place to put this thread, but its here is a good enough place as this is where you pick on everyone else who dont share your own beliefs and you blindly criticize others thinking you are completely right. And you probably mostly dont know much about them either so dont really have any base for your argument.

Please treat me with respect as i have with u. If you do have doubts about what i have written as u probably will then dont just reject what i have written straight away. Think about it, really do until you can really

Well this is the internet and i am used to writings short form, i did try to extend the language as much as i consciously could. But then i automatically shortened something, and i did take alot of time typing this already. It is up to you if you want to read it. I suggest you do, however can't force you too. Also I'm British so i wouldn't type American-English, just English.

3. "Outdated"? For some of us, right and wrong are not fads and fashion trends. If there's an update for the Bible, if there's some Bible 1.1 patch to download, please show me where it is.

I know this isn't a serious forum now, Someone else viewed one threads opinions from here then he posted on some forum, so I thought I would post here since there are people out there that do take religion too seriously (when i say seriously I mean some beliefs that aren't actually to do with their religion they take extreme). Anyway i wasn't instructing I was advising how I think (if you believed in all of that i first wrote) you could better yourselves and make others lives easier. Advice is at your own free will, instructing is more authoritative.

1) I never said wha god would want, i said what i believed god would want. You're entitled to what you think. Also we all type in our very own specific way, i was typing in mine as you type in yours. Also if i didnt know this place wasnt fake id call you a hypocrite for being arrogant yourself since youre saying im wrong.
2) Terrorists inflict pain on others and they should punished for that. People who are actually extremely 'religious' inflict pain on others for their beliefs. Saying people will go to hell is not a nice thing. Im also agnostic as there is no proof whatsoever and a 2000 year old book is not good enough, over time things change religion changes, so for all i know god could just be a made up character, and its up to us to decide what we believe.

Fine, I BELIEVE that you said you BELIEVE you can tell us would God "would" want. I guess it depends on what our definition of "is" is.

You WOULD call us hypocrites? See how agnostics want to have it both ways? Agnostics want to get to call people hypocrites, without being resposnsible for calling people hypocrites. They want to say what God "would" do, without being called out on it. Thanks for proving that agnostics are just people who want to escape responsibility!

You changed the subject. I didn't ask if terrorists are good or bad. I asked if their beliefs are true or not. I say their beliefs are false. As an agnostic, you can't say that terrorist beliefs are false.

There's something odd going on with this thread (I think it changed names mid stream )but I thought that I would take a stab at explaining something to a poster who, like so many, insists on missing the point.

The people here at LBC are not here for the purpose of being nice. Happily, they often are. They are here to take a firm, and may I say courageous, stand that many in our world do not want to hear.

The Bible is not some stuffed toy of spiritual comfort. It is a powerful tool that must be wielded with precision.

Within its very text is the confirmation that its words-- each and every last one of them -- are divinely directed Truth. To ignore a single word of its commands is to repudiate the whole.

You need not agree with this concept, many here do not. You certainly need not like it. You are free to express such ideas. However, please remember that you are not arguing against the personal position or preferences of the founders of this forum. Do not expect to "win" here. You cannot win against the Word of God as delineated in KJV1611.

Ok i didnt realise i actually stated it as a fact. But i wouldnt of thought anyone would disagree. On the subject of terrorists, their believes may not be wrong, but misguided, as one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Also reality is full of maybes, in which you can't be truely certain of anything.

Since this isnt actually a real extreme forum i wont get taunted into arguing, although i wudnt really argue anyway. But im not atheist im agnostic. And if you were serious id ask you why do you need to argue my beliefs to reinforce your own. I might role play tomorrow though if im to discuss further.

There's a term for people who can dish it out but not take it - "passive-aggressive".

Wait, WHAT? I'm asking a simple question: are the 9/11 highjackers up in heaven right now, looking down at us and laughing as they molest their 70 virgins? I say they aren't. Even atheists say they aren't. But you're an agnostic, so you can't say that they aren't.

Also reality is full of maybes, in which you can't be truely certain of anything.

As in "maybe murder is good, because somebody somewhere approves of it".

I'd like to see an agnostic try to invent a machine. Say, an airplane. "Gee, SOMETIMES drag slows a plane down, but one man's slow is another man's fast. Maybe sometimes drag makes a plane go faster. And one man's heavy is another man's light, so let's just replace the wings with big square stone blocks. Will it fly? Well, reality is filled with maybes"...

Christians believe in what the Bible says. Atheists believe in what the scientific method tells them. Agnostics believe whatever, except when they don't.

Frishy, I'm going to be painfully honest here, (possibly for both of us ). I do have a strange sense of humor and it leaks into my posts from time to time. But I mean this, and I'm sorry if it sounds disrespectful.
