I've read, but am still not convinced, just anybody could write something down and say it is the truth

just as now is happening to poor Joran, the Venezolenian police writes down that he has killed the poor girl, and everyone believes it, but it's not true because he's being set-up by the evil FBI

so how should I know that what's been written down is the truth??

that's what I was tought at school it was...

but don't get me wrong, i've read a good portion of this forum since I came here the first time, and I think you people have some good points here and there, but also just as many points I disagree with...

so please give me some proof, or a good reason to believe...

Well usually I would say pray for it, but since God does not hear prayers of those who don't have faith, I guess you're just going to have to trust us.

And really, the brothers Grimm? Although I enjoy their stories (the real ones, not the watered down PC versions available today) they're morality tales, not the Holy Bible.

1. if he was so smart and anxious to hide Natalee Holloways body and never tell anyone about it just to stay out of prison, then WHY would he be so dumb to murder a girl in his own hotelroom, with his own bat and leave the bat in the room, all on the day that it was exactly 5 yrs ago that Natalee disappeared....? Do you find that this last murder matches the behaviour he showed for so many years or that it resembles the disappearance without a trace of Natalee...?

2. Two witnesses saw Joran enter his hotelroom with the girl....One hotelguest and one employee. Mind you: the hotelowner is a friend of the family of the murdered girl....The video on which he was seen with her was of the casino....the night BEFORE....

2. How likely is it that he would be traveling with a baseball bat? Would you go on holiday and bring along your baseball bat? Again, why would he leave the murder weapon behind? Surely he could have cleaned it up, put it in his bag and dumped it somewhere...

4. He arrived on May 15 in Peru. They found pills that looked like rapedrugs in the car of the murdered girl...parked 50 (!) blocks away....How did te car get there? Did she park the car there? Was that near the casino? So they got to his hotel by taxi? They met Saturday night at the casino and then they went to his hotelroom from where he left at Sunday 5am. Suppose they got to the hotel by taxi, then how did those pills get in her car...? So he was on Peru less than 15 days and he managed to get rape drugs? And leave them behind in her car? Parked 50 blocks away from the hotel?
Again: don't you think this doesn't fit the profile of someone who did his stinking best to hide all traces that could incriminate him in the Natalee Holloway's case?

5. Isn't it a little bit odd, that Natalee's mom suddenly presses charges of extortion and wire fraud NOW? Why not earlier? It didn't happen yesterday or last week and the story wasn't brought out, so why NOW? For someone who traveled many times to Holland and frequently appeared on tv whenever and as soon as there was new "evidence", wouldn't it be more likely to go public as soon as Joran would try to extort money? Wire fraud? She traced his bankaccount and wired a small sum so she can say now: you see, he tried to extort me and the evidence is the fact that I already sent him some money....And oh yeah, look at this e-mail I have received from him (as if e-mails can't be faked....).

6. Quite interesting were the findings of investigators Dan Young and Kelly Castillo, who found out that Natalee had been abused by her stepfather and was pregnant of him and that her mom knew about it....Just google their names and George Spink blogspot

7. Immediately after the news got out that the Peruvian girl was found murdered in Joran's hotelroom, an anonymous "pokerfriend" of Joran told the press that Joran had made a phonecall to him and had told him that he had stabbed the girl to death. With a knife.
As we all know, the girl was murdered with a baseball bat.....So who is this anonymous "pokerfriend" who so eagerly wanted to nail Joran...?


8. FBI-agent Harold Copus who earlier investigated the disappearance of Natalee, is quite surprised by what happened....He said: "The behaviour of Van der Sloot in Peru fits his pattern of gambling and contacting girls, but his character has never been violent".

9. Police commissioner Guardia said that they probably drank alcohol, but in her blood there was no trace of alcohol..."probably it was already out of her system because the body was found a few days later".
Strange....Please google alcohol-metabolism-after-death for the level of alcohol in a human body after death....
And how about traces of the rape drug...? Remember those pills in her car...?


10. Joran's so called confession in 2008 when he was talking to a Dutch criminal (Patrick van Eem) who had setup a trap with a hidden camera in his car (in cooperation with criminal reporter Peter R. de Vries) could have been nothing more than some fantasy talk by a young guy trying to boast in order to earn respect from a criminal who is bragging and boasting that he is a big drug dealer and who is pushing Joran to make some confession. Finally after many days of driving along with this criminal, Joran (after smoking some weed), decides to play along and starts telling his "confession", encouraged constantly by Patrick to confess more and more details...

11. What if Joran was really innocent in the Natalee case....What if those Kalpoe brothers who accompanied him that night had something to do with it? What if criminal reporter Peter R. de Vries would not have started his hunt for Joran, inspired more and more by climbing rates on his tv-show, and Joran would still have been the student he was after the death of Natalee but before the hunt started? Without any hard evidence at all, Peter made sure the public convicted Joran before any trial had ever started....Just like now....whatever happend to "innocent until proven guilty"??? Joran was forced to quit his study at the University, left for Thailand where again he was traced and hunted after by Peter R. de Vries. He then went to Peru. What if Peter R. de Vries wouldn't have started his witch hunt? In that case Joran would still be at the University of Leiden in Holland. And guess what's more: Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez would still be alive today....

ok, I have 2 very simple, easy to answer questions for you folks:

1) can you give me scientific proof that god exsists

Can you give me Biblical proof that evolution exists?

If not, why should you be right and I be wrong? Why should I be obliged to prove my religion using your religious doctrines, but shouldn't you be obliged to prove your religion (science) using my religious doctrines?

Oh, you want "scientific" proof do you?
Sorry I don't have any needles or monkeys to operate on.

What I can say is that the KJV (which is far worthier than some story book about evilution) clearly states that God exists.
