Pastors, I have a question.

Every day, when I read the paper, I see Horrorscopes printed. Now, the ladies at the orphanage said that reading Horrorscopes was blasphemy, as it was a form of divination and therefore witchcraft. However, the Bible says,

Gen. 1:14

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

So, if the stars are for signs, does that not make astrologizing OK?

Maybe the pastors will correct me, but "sign for seasons, and for days and years" ... looks like a mighty callendar, anything else would be witchcraft.

Leviticus 20:27 clearly states that we should stone a fortune teller. How can an astrologer who tells you what kind of day you'll have (before it happens) not be a fortune teller??? You should be able to find out where this person who writes the astrology column lives, etc... by doing some minor investigating. Then make our Lord happy by stoning that person to death mercilessly. If you are interested in learning God's will, you can always take out the old Liturgical 8-Ball and cast lots. That's how the apostles determined the will of God in choosing between "Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias" to "be a witness with us of His resurrection":

And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,


That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Oh, Sister Jenny, I bet you like to bungee jump too, don't you? You are SAVED! Why flirt with danger by reading the LIEberal media? I subscribe to the Freehold Truth and Light, and it's the only newspaper I will even touch! There are no horrorscopes within its pages, no comics other than Family Circus (it was hilarious today!), and the editorial staff aren't afraid to tell the truth about Osama Barack and Hellary Clinton!

I subscribe to the Freehold Truth and Light, and it's the only newspaper I will even touch! There are no horrorscopes within its pages, no comics other than Family Circus (it was hilarious today!), and the editorial staff aren't afraid to tell the truth about Osama Barack and Hellary Clinton!

There's a bit of debate about adding "BC" to the comics page but there is some debate over the amount of nudity in it.
