Helping a friend, and knowing thy enemy

    Greetings my friends.
I will attempt to keep a LONG story short.
A good friend since grade school, we all know how much in short supply these types are, is not only an atheist, but a raging liberal.
He isn't a homer, but one would think with these other aberrant behaviors that could be next.
Anyway, he knows of my superstrong faith and devotion, and told me
"Read these books, and if it doesn't at least make you think differently, let me know."
He gave me something by that Dawkins creep, and another by some Frenchman (barf) named Onfray.

Well, let me tell you, it was INDEED an eye opener.
As in, I can't believe they allow people to publish such tripe!

If anything, after polluting my mind with that drivel, I can honestly say I know my enemy very well, and his world is NOT somewhere you want to live.

No my friends, it is a sad, dark place filled with earthly lusts and devoid of the fruits of Heaven.

I pray for my friend's immortal soul, and hope before it is too late that he sees the grave error of his ways.

And now a question.....does reading stuff like that transfer the wages of sin onto MY soul?

I ask this because these filthy writings certainly did not in the least bit shake the Rock of my foundation, but is it sinful to even read the words?

I say no, since knowing thy enemy is important.

    What say you?
    Mark
11:17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

I've seen Dawkin's book. It was the only book I've ever read that should have had a soundtrack of cuckoo clocks. What a weirdo.

I'd watch your friend, seems to me he's setting you up to touch his penis.

If I had an atheist friend I would be worried they guy wanted to rape and murder me in my sleep. Atheists hate God and hate anything good in the world.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
