Do you guys get enjoyment out of putting other people down? Why must you go out of your way to make other people feel bad about themselves? Is there really any need for that?

God calls us to rebuke sinners.

Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

The whole point of a godly rebuke is to make people feel bad so that they will repent.

2 Cor 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
