Hello, first I would like to introduce myself. I am a young girl who grew up with a hard past. I was always bullied, no one ever listened to a thing i said. I grew quiet. Eventually I hated myself, I thought I was a freak. Everyone bullied me for my weight or my eyes, saying I was fat or called me names. By middle school they called me Lesbian, Lesbo, you get the point. (I am straight and now have a wonderful boyfriend). I started cutting myself because hurting myself was the same thing everyone else did, they always hurt me. Always. Always. Always. I was chased and taunted and punched in the breast, smacked. It got worse. I was miserable. My parents, I wont go into that situation. I had no one. I had nothing. I had tremendous pressure because i was always trying to be better, to be smart and get good grades, be thin, be talented. Because i wanted my parents aproval. I wanted the bullying to stop. But it was never enough. I started starving, and puking because all my life i was told i was not good enough. Not thing enough. Not smart enough. Not pretty enough. I did not know what else to do. Then, I started listening to music. When i listened to it, I never heard the names. I never heard my parents screaming. I didnt have to think about all the pain everyone caused me anymore. The first band i discovered was Black Veil Brides. They saved my life because I had been contemplating suicide. No one would miss me, my parnets did not want me, i had no friends. I was alone in this world. But Black Veil Brides is not what you think it is. Please read what im telling you because i have met them, those men are really good people, god loves everyone. Andy, the leader, loves hugs and pretty, girly things. He acts like a kid sometimes. He loves unicorns too. The picture you posted of him with a broken nose is where he fell on stage, it was a accident. He is against violence. He never punches anyone or starts fights. In their spare time, they play ping pong and do autograph signings. They sponsored several anti-drug campaigns. Andy will talk to anyone who comes to him with a problem because he cares. The BVB Army is just what we call the fan base. Every fan base has a name. Like the fan bases of movies, tv shows, books. There is no cult, we dont worship Andy, Black Veil Brides, or Satan. I am christian and know many christian fans of black veil brides. Cutting is a addiction that is caused by a chemical release called dopamine that blocks pain signals. Black Veil Brides discourages cutting. Andy was born with ADHD and was bullied his entire life just like i was. He knows what its like to be alone. The message black veil brides sends is that you are not alone, and you may not fit in but you are perfect and unique the way you are. If i had not found them, i would have ended my life or starved to death. I never saw myself as pretty, not even when i was down to 79 pounds. Black veil brides actually keeps a special box with them on tour where they put the blades that their fans give them when they stop cutting. If you dont understand what that means: fans who used to cut themselves give their old blades (which is really hard because its a real addiction) to them and promise to never cut again. Black veil brides locks them up to keep the promise (no they do not cut themselves either. None of them have ever cut or attempted suicide.) here are lyric proof that of the real message bvb tries to send. "So hear my voice remind you not to bleed" this quote is Andy directly telling us not to "bleed" meaning dont cut. "So here I write my lullaby

They speak to the kids that get slammed into lockers and cussed every day by the people who should love them. they speak to the kids who never had a chance because they were dealt a bad hand. they tell us we are not alone, they went through it, and they lived. they never cut themselves, and they still made it. they are a inspiration that we can too. Andy was raised as a catholic, he went to a catholic private school, he respects his parents and they love him. he named the band "black veil brides" in respect for them and their religion because "black veil bride" means (and look this up if you dont believe me):"Roman Catholic term used for when a woman marries into the church and gives up all the pleasures of life to devote her life to God. She is then deemed a Black Veil Bride." Please, the things you accuse are false, you are judging men that you dont know. Only God can judge people, when we judge, we bully, and that hurts people.

Who is Paul talking to here, dear? Who is the "us" Christ died for? As a matter of Biblical fact, Jesus did not die for everyone.

Which is why we must appeal to the Word of God to make sense of the Word of God, not our own minds. That only leads to a loss of faith, and God hates that.

We are all sinners in desperate need of Christ's forgiveness. Therefore, as such, have no right to condemn those who Christ also died for.

For example, in the Gospels, when Jesus encounters the woman caught in adultery, his response is:

What you seem to have a hard time grasping is that one who is truly Born Again, is born as an adopted child of God (2 Corinthians 6:18), and as a child takes on his father's DNA, a Child of God takes on the essence of his Father - that is, sinlessness (1st John 3:6-9).

Okay. so. honestly, i know how devastating it is to a parent to learn that their daughter is cutting but please please try to understand from her perspective!! People cut for a variety of reasons: stress, emotional/mental pain, bullying, emotional verbal or spiritual abuse, and others!!

God is a God of judgment, yes, BUT let he who is without sin cast the first stone!!! You arent gonna win your daughter back by condemning her. i promise. you will just distance her.

Thank you for asking. Mr. Etheldreda and I have gone to the LORD many, many times for and on behalf of our daughter. We've had some rough times, but the LORD's Truth© prevails. Recently, I found her "history" on an iphone she had, er, had. I was traumatized just reading the searches, never mind following the links. I've had to consult Dr Laurence Niles, Psychotheological Analyst Therapist for my PTSD, but he assures me I'm on the road to recovery and one day I won't break out in hives just looking at a cellular phone.

We had a long talk about this search history, the things she was looking for (such as "what is gay," "am I a lesbian if I kissed a girl"). I told her what she had been reading wasn't normal. It wasn't real sexuality. It wasn't natural. It wasn't honoring to Jesus. I explained exactly what sex is and what it is for, and that it’s something God wants us to save for marriage, and that marriage is only between one man, one women, and God, with the express purposes of glorifying God with many healthy soldiers for Christ.

I asked her if she thought she was a lesbian. She said she didn’t know. I pointed out that all her crushes have been on boys, and that seemed to reassure her. I told her it was normal to be curious about people’s bodies and about sex, but that if she ever has questions, she needs to ask me or Mr. Etheldreda, not her "Black Army" friends, not Siri, not Google. I told her I had arraigned a private spiritual consult with Pastor Zeke and Pastor Jones to help her sort out any further confusion she might have.

My mamma's heart is broken, knowing my daughter's innocence has been stolen from her. My spirit man is deflated knowing she has had to grow up so fast, beyond what her tender years should have to deal with. I weep to think she will never be innocent again. The conversation about her not being allowed to wear white on her wedding day was understandably tough. Although there is no sexual impropriety that I know of, her purity has been pierced. It would be dishonest of her father to walk her down the aisle and give her away to a man under the pretense of being pure. So white is out. Oh you should have heard the screams, threats, ultimatums, and hours and hours of sobbing behind closed doors.

She's been in her room ever since. It's been a few days and we haven't heard a peep out of her. She hasn't come out for meals and that's just as well, as my PTSD sometimes is triggered just thinking about her and her embracing sin and self-mutilation. I know in my heart she is praying to the LORD, searching her own heart, reading her Bible, and coming to terms with the confession she needs to make, both to her father and I, and to the church congregation. Standing up in front of Landover Baptist Church to confess sins of impurity is naturally very difficult, but in the end she'll be glad she did. I just know it. I have confidence the LORD will finish His good work in her (Philippians 1:6).

I will pray for you and your daughter, sister. I hope that she will still find a lovely true Christian husband, even though she can no longer walk down the isle in pure, innocent white. I can understand how your heart might feel broken, knowing that she has lost her innocence too young (not to be insensitive, but how old is she?) my heart broke a little too reading that, even though she is not my daughter, I still feel the sadness that comes from knowing she lost her precious innocence. I will pray that it somehow all works out in the end. After all, He looks after those who deserve it, and you are a shining example of what a True Christian woman should be. He will hear your prayers, and answer them, I'm sure.
