Have any of you people actually read the New Testament? You call yourself christians, but base your opinions on the Old Testament. Jesus came and overruled the barbaric rules of the older scriptures, leaving a message of love and forgiveness, not of damnation and death. He gave women an equal standing to a man, and did not tell people to marry their rapists.

Furthermore, the man is not a victim in any way. Rape is about psychological domination, not about sex. He was not simply so horny that he had to find someone to have sex with. And if he did, it would be his fault for not controlling himself, not hers for anything she had done.

As far as aborting the baby, to keep the baby would be a constant reminder of the damage done to her own psyche. And the baby would have to live with the fact that he/she was created not through a loving act between two people, but through a forced and hateful act. The baby should not have to be forced to live through that life.

As far as marriage, he doesn't find her attractive, just an easy target. He is a sadist.

I stated in my post that I am NOT an atheist. I am open to the concept of their being a God or sorts, I am only against what men have interpreted as his will. My father understands what I've said, and agrees with my opinion. I didn't demand to be taken seriously, I was only expressing what I think, after all, thats all you lot do.
