Foolish infant, you know that once you pay the fifty shekels, you must marry the girl you damaged. In addition to that, you will have secular law deal with you. Depending on where the rape occurred, the sentence could be merely a dozen years in prison or death by stoning.

But then you will be shot with a shotgun by their husband or father. You see how that works? We protect our women and that is why they do not get raped. If you wear slutty clothes, drink alcohol and walk on the street on 3am and refuse your husband's or father's protection, then there's a good chance you will be raped, yes. But whose fault is it by then?

Remember that this Bible passage does not condone rape, it merely says what the moral solution is to a rape that has already occurred.

I'm sorry did God write the bible? I can't even believe you are blaming the victim here. Even if she did wear "slutty" clothes it does not give a person the right to violate her. If this was my daughter, I would be playing some video games to find as many violent ways as I could to get the evil scum sucker back. And to the girl who got raped, I'd ask where were your parents when this happened? Too busy reading a novel to protect their daughter I guess.

The Bible does not give any person the right to violate anyone. The Bible provides a moral solution for a virgin who has been defiled by rape. But for a hateful person like you, it is easy to say "Oh, the Bible condones rape, now I want to rape your daughter". Is it love to say let the poor girl pile up sin after sin?

That aside I have a question. Assuming there is a serial rapist. And as far as I am aware there is a law in the bible that limits to one wife only. What's going to happen? Do you rip him apart to be enough for all the women he raped (read: was tempted to take by force) or will he be allowed to be alive while he marries all of them?

Can anyone tell me WHERE can I find the word "RAPE" in the above Holly verse of God? Doesn't the above mean that both of them WANTED this?? Assume that the above means "RAPE", although its not, then what about the below verse of the bible:

The Bible states that the rapist should take responsibility and amend his mistake by marrying her. If it is not possible to marry her, he will be brought to death. If the woman is married and did not cry out, they will both be brought to death.

So God wants capital punishment for rapists who cannot fix their mistake. Now please tell me again how God condones rape?? It doesn't say it's OK to rape. It says that if you have made a mistake, then you must amend it. Rape is not an unpardonable sin.

You might as well corrupt the Bible into saying that God thinks murder is OK, just because a murderer can be forgiven. It is amazing that so much of this message is lost on you. I will pray for you to see the light so that you will not go to Hell.

(Grammar, if I understand - note this thread is being spammed around all over the world right now as a joke. I am not from America or even from an English speaking country.)

I am not applying that the God thinks rape or murder is right. I am saying this little community here thinks it is right. If you read the first few posts you notice things like "poor man", "spare him from the jail time" etc. Everyone seems to assume the girl was a hooker or something. What if she was a regular schoolgirl in her school uniform walking down the street after the classes and the guy was a perverted old man. No where does it actually state any facts about how the rape occured. All of you christians simply disgust me by saying the girl is the one wrong here. If any of you was female and raped, perhaps that would change your view on things. God is not wrong her, you are.

And as it is now, with people like this, I do not want to go to heaven with. Because of people like this I am willing to deny God and because of people like this I rather embrace the Devil.

Think for a moment. The exact same passage does not mention sex, only that they lie together. So, wow, God must be really "uptight". If you lay down next to a girl, you must marry her? Whoaaa, what if you lay down next to your mom?

Thats a HORRIBLE idea. It is EXTREMELY important that both sexes are very different as every NORMAL Godly person knows. How can we retain our differences as men, and women with gender equality?

I am saying this little community here thinks it is right.

That is because your heart is filled with sorrow and hate.

Does the man deserve to spend decades in jail with real criminals for an act of inconvenience that lasted no longer than 30 minutes? What if he wants to take responsibility? You would slam the door in his face.

NONE of the girls in our community have EVER had such an experience. It is unheard of. You know why? Because we don't let them dress like sluts and actually care about the people they associate with.

If any of you was female and raped, perhaps that would change your view on things.

Read the thread (or better: the Bible) carefully, imbecile. It is stated again and again that God does NOT want women to be raped. He wants the rapist to take the moral and responsible action.

Also, women are not inferior to men, they just have different purposes than men.
