Re: WARNING: World of Warcraft Game Causes Demon Possession!
Hmm. I have never seen someone get dressed so fast in my life... I have a slight feeling this video was staged. I dont know the motive, but theres always a possibility. In my opinion the boy was throwing a tantrum. I also think that you guys shouldn't insult each other, because it sounds like you are still in school (referring to some of the remarks...)
AND, is there proof that he was actualy playing world of warcraft?
Blizzard is a very clever group of people, and they force the player to BUY the game, and then pay MONTHLY subscriptions! They structure the gameplay in such a way, that it takes years to complete all the quests and achievements... And it takes about 8 Months to get from level 1, to level 80. That is a ridiculous amount of time spent on a computer game, in my opinion. There is a possibility that this boy was playing this game for 2 years, and threw a tantrum because all his achievements and level 80 charactors were lost... moving on.
Right, I am finished with the insults about people insulting other people (lol)
Let me tell you guys about myself.
My name is thomas, and I recently turned 16 years old. I gave my life to god about a year ago, with the help of peter, the most amazing person I have ever met. I have to tell you guys about something, world of warcraft uses real demon names, as some of thier monsters that the player must kill. This is a reason alone, not to play the game. It is simply delving in rubbish that could cause you to go down the wrong path. Or maybe not. It depends on the person and their age.
Despite that, I still play the game, and have been playing for the past week. Luckily for me, I am playing on an illiegal server (free server)
and dont get the opportunity to befriend over 7 000 000 people like in the actualy server. I only happen to get 3000 people, but the upside of this, is that I dont devote my entire life to the game, because the developers of the free server have made is so the player doesnt HAVE to spend such a long time playing, only about 1 week and you can hit level 69 like me. (it was holidays at the time so I had time to waste)
Now on to my main point.
World of warcraft does not go against christianity DIRECTLY,
BUT, it does feature demonic attributes, such a monsters classified under demons, and various other things.
This is coming from a person that has played computer games as a recreational hobby for YEARS now, but I recommend parents not to let thier children play games untill they are at least 14 years old, as they are not mature enough to understand that they are NOT REAL. (I wish my parents did that)
I have played nearly every game in the book over the years, and I could be classified as a ''computer geek'', but thats not entirely true.
I wish I didnt play computer games, as I agree that all violent games are not ''the christian thing to do'' , but I do because I have been doing it for so long, that I would be slightly bored with out it and its enjoyable to do it with friends.
I also happen to have the gift of socialising with large groups of people (which I get from my dad), and I am an athletic person (if you wondering).
I try to live every day by gods word, and I have one last thing to say.
Why does god see sin all at the same level?
In human terms of law enforcement, playing a violent computer game, and taking drugs is a very big difference in terms of punishment. (bad example I know.)
But, god would see it the same, and send both people to hell.
Why does god dish out the exact same punishment for something SO different?
Thats my question for today
see you guys around!
