That was AFTER they got married, you pervert.

And considering that you are 19, I highly doubt you are married with two children.

Why would it make any difference to my life if Robert Pattinson is gay? I could care less, but you have no proof.
Considering that all you lot ask for is proof with scripture when someone makes a statement, i'd like some too.

Emily is probably a 'mall rat' who thinks she is 'hawt'. She will either end up cleaning bed pans at the old nuns home or be married to a mooslime.

My daughter just told me she thinks Emily is 'skivvy' and wants to know why Emily wants to date Homers. I told her that a Homer is the only male that would associate with a 'skivvy' heathen like Emily.

Little empty headed Emily. You have grossly failed to respond to any of my previous questions, but suddenly are up in arms about this pervert fudge packing boy. Interesting.

In some ways I thinks it's good that she written some parts more "nonchristian idealic" because then she reaches out to more young girl and can teach them of the message and make them think more like that.

Now, I've heard some say that the "Twilight" books by Stephanie Meyer are just another series of Satanic, blasphemous literature like "Harry Potter" or "the Chronicles of Narnia". However, while investigating this new phenomenon, I found it may not be all that bad. Sure, it deals with dark themes, and yes, it is written by a Godless Mormon, but I have found that the book contains lots of great messages for young girls. I think fathers out there should let their daughters read "Twilight" or watch the movies. (I don't think letting your sons do it is advisable, though, unless you want to end up paying huge bills for a conversion therapist ten years on). Mainly, it is because unlike Hermione Granger or Lucy Pevensie, this book is NOT populated by rabid feminazis.

-The series is a metaphor for keeping abstinent before marriage. It helps teach young girls that if they give it away before they have a ring on their finger, they WILL die (because God will strike them down to hell).

-Bella Swan, the series protagonist, is constantly falling into danger, and needs to be rescued by her boyfriend. This sets a very good example for girls, a message not given enough by today's media - women are essentially helpless, and they simply CANNOT make it through the world unless they have a man there to take care of them.

-For another thing, Bella Swan has no life or personality outside of her boyfriend. Truly, she is an example for how a Christian wife should behave! Every thought she has is of him. She shows very little interest to anything outside of him, doesn't seem to have any hobbies or career goals or friends. Exactly how a woman she behave once she has found the right man for her. And when he is not around, she does not use the opportunity to look for independence her sex is not supposed to have, but instead reclines from society and goes into depression. Meyer should be applauded for this wonderful character.

-Bella craves to die and be reborn as an immortal being. Just like every true Christian woman should live out their lives here on Earth, miserable, and waiting for the sweet release of death so they can be reborn in God's heavenly kingdom (of course Twilight isn't about going to heaven, but it's just fantasy after all).

-Bella constantly thinks to herself how wonderful and perfect her boyfriend is, while simultaneously thinking to herself how lowly, stupid, and ugly she is. She is very indecisive and weak-minded, and depends upon her boyfriend, or her werewolf friend, Jacob, to make decisions for her. AMEN!
(note: Edward, the psychic, is unable to read only Bella's mind. Personally, I believe this is a sign that Bella is the perfect woman - she doesn't think at all!)

-Edward is about 100 years older than Bella, but they still make a good couple. A good way to teach girls that they don't have to get married with someone their own age, but perhaps take their father's advice and marry a friend of his in need of a partner.

-Once Edward and Bella get married in the last book (once Bella has become a vampire), it describes the aftermath of their wedding night - the headboard is in ruins, she's covered in bruises, but she hides him so he won't feel guilty. And Bella is top of the world. How romantic! So much better than some of the trash out there, teaching our children to be sick perverts who have sex before marriage!

-Edward is the perfect gentleman, teaching our girls the kind of men they should go after. He is very kind, and protective of her. He follows her around a lot, and often sneaks into her bedroom at night to watch her sleep. He also manages to suppress his constant desire to kill her (most of the time).

-Bella models to young women how they should act around their men - she has to tiptoe around Edward, and Jacob, because at any moment they can turn into bloodthirsty monsters and shred her to pieces. For this reason she must be very nice to them to make sure she doesn't set their tempers off.
Thank the lord for the smart man who helped birth you!

I'm not sure how he manages that.

Perhaps a censored version should be made so the book has a more Christian slant. Bella would be a better cook, respect her father and not even give mixing races a second thought. Edward would be a strict Christian but he'd be roughly the same. Also, less satanism.
It would be a welcome sight in this sex-crazed, homesexual, liberal-minded world.

                        Twilight good? HA its funny.

Well. I personally think Twighlight is terrible for anyone, regardless of faith etc.

These affects all non- True Christians ™, and some affect them as well

It is a crappy story (excuse my language)
It is about... a vampire... who marries... wait for it... a human. And there is some were-wolf guy who does nothing but strip and talk... perhaps an exaggeration but whatever
The whole plot is ruined, although there wasnt much to ruin, when they stopped a war because Bella got a super power to save them... or something. The whole prep stuff might as well of not happened at all.
Vampires are idolized. They are super-strong, have super powers, and many girls are in love with the main character, a vampire.
Werewolves are idolized. Jacob. Ever heard of "Team Jacob"? Yeah. That is called ridiculous devotion to something stupid.
Bestiality. Bella has sleeps with a vampire. And she is a human.
Its a cult. Many follow twilight, and pay attention to only it, shriek over the male star, etc.
OH someone mentioned that there were few girls? Because it was written for girls. They have one main girl who people identify with, and then some guys that put that girl in a position most female viewers wish they were in. A love triangle. 2 guys being madly in love with a girl. So many girls want this.

Just a note, all plot points I heard second hand, from friends who read them. Ironically I know more about twilight than some friends who are obsessed... mainly because so many friends have explained it to me.

So... yeah. I am sorry, but I do not agree with your review of this series. And if it was meant to apply to the movie, definitely not.

Yes it is an exaggeration! Jacob is a beautiful man. What do you have against men walking around without their shirt on? Many men like to go without a shirt on a hot day. It's only nasty when a woman does it.

The thing that is so unrealistic about this is that Jacob is suddenly wearing pants after turning back from a dog.

You mean Edward? Edward is the prototype for the man Christ wants us to be. He lives as a bachelor for many years, until he finally settles down and decides to marry a plain girl. He chastely dates Bella for a long time before even making a move on her. He loves her spiritually, not physically. Much like Pastor Zeke and Miss Daisy.

She is deemed worthy enough to accept Edward's seed only after she tries to kill herself totally placing her faith in her man. Twilight teaches an important lesson here about how a Christian woman should behave.

If she is lucky enough she will be accepted into vampirism, which is like totally a metaphor for Christ.

                                Dear Godmocking Whore;

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule of worshiping satan and spreading your legs for anyone with a dollar to post this hateful message. The Holy Bible tells us that we are actually Blessed by your persecution! Thanks for proving that we're right.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Enjoy hell. I know that Jesus and I can't wait to watch you burn in hell for all eternity. Oh, how we'll laugh at you as you scream in agony! Shout Glory!!
