Brothers and Sisters, you probably saw the title of this thread and gasped in shock, wondering why I'd be writing about bondage and the use of phallic objects not just on our Godly forums, but in Focus on Family of all places! Let me assure you, I have good cause.
You may not be aware of this, but "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" is the name of a film released many years ago by that most anti-family, pro-sodomite of companies, Disney. It's not really a surprise that a corporation that promotes homerism with an annual "Gay Day" would come up with something as shocking and disgusting as this, but the demented title is only the beginning of the sad story.
Even worse? It goes beyond just trying to recruit young children into the sodomite agenda. It promotes witchcraft, my friends!
The movie stars obvious lesbimen Angela Lansbury as a wannabe witch who learns her Satanic craft through a correspondence school operated by yet another fey Brit, David Tomlinson (whom many of you may remember from that popular anti-business, pro-Communist and pro-witchcraft film, "Mary Poppins").
And so many of today's True Christians think this all started with Harry Potter. No. Satan has been after our children through the magic of movies for decades now with the generous help of Walt Disney and his minions.
Together, these two take three innocent children on a "magical journey" on an "enchanted bed". Really. They weren't even trying to be subtle. How many catlick priests saw this movie as the gift from the devil that it was? Imagine "Father" Seamus inviting young choirboy Tommy to stay after choir practice to watch a movie. After the end credits roll, the priest turns to his victim and talks about how he's got a magic bed, and would Tommy like to take a ride on it?
I weep thinking about how many youngsters fell under the wicked spell of papist pedophiles thanks to this tool provided them by their dark master!
That's not enough for the sickos who made this abomination though. Oh no. They had to go make witchcraft look cheery and fun! Not once did Angela Lansbury question if this was something that Jesus would want her to do, no, she just went around casting spells with a huge smile on her face! If this were a Christian film, she'd have met her fiery death and been cast down into Hell for defying God's will, but she's actually portrayed as a heroine!
We've all been there when filthy sinners so intent on wallowing in their own degradation call us "Nazis" and "worse than Hitler" for doing nothing more than spreading the Gospel and trying to save their worthless souls. Well, Nazis appear in this movie as an obvious allegory for True Christians, and the murderous witch uses her dark powers to defeat them, to convince the unsuspecting that Satan will actually triumph over Jesus!
All of this makes me wary to even bring up the talking animals. As we all know from the Bible, the only animals that can talk are the serpent and the ass, but they show lions and bears an other creatures yakking up a storm! In human clothing too! If we ever want to try and find where the growing problem of "furries" got its start, I don't think we have to look any further than this wretched excuse for "family entertainment".
In short, while we need to stand on guard as the next Harry Potter movie is released (I've got my picket sign painted and ready to go), we'd do well to remember that the most monstrous film ever made is already out there and has been corrupting the innocent for decades now.
So please join me in prayer and write to your Republican senators and congressmen to pass legislation to ban "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" and to see that all copies out there are promptly destroyed. If they're not sure where to start, I'm sure there are a few papist nightstands and Wicced bookshelves they can check to get things started.
