The eldest of my five sons, Leviticus, has taken to peeing like a woman. I spare not the rod, yet he persists. I have read and re-read Dare to Discipline by James Dobson, yet I do not see this issue specifically addressed. I am worried that my 5-year old Leviticus may be on a path leading to the gay.


The lash does not seem to be having any effect, and I am at a loss for how to train Leviticus against this effeminate behavior. Please help me.

This whole thing has me confused. Sits down? Nobody sits down. Not men, not women. Wouldn't you get it all over yourself and whatever you're sitting on? Especially in the wind. Men stand, women squat. That's the way it's always been. I mean, really, how lazy do you have to be to sit on a lawn chair and pee out on the snow? And women would freeze to the chair. Just try to get work out of them after that! This whole thing is ridiculous. You're not French or something are you?

Pastor Steven Anderson discuses this very subject. It's mentioned 6 times in the Bible, and as my mother used to say, if it's mentioned in the Bible at least 3 times, you better pay attention.

Jeb, He will grow out of it, and probably much sooner than later. It's part of potty training. Some kids even that old still wet the bed or wet their pants and the like. If he starts wanting to wear makeup or dresses, then you probably have reason to be concerned. But sitting while urinating doesn't mean that he's turing gay. Remember that at the age of 5 he really doesn't have a concept of what sex is all about, much less what his preferences would be.

Welcome to the forum! Are you a Christian? Can you back this up with scripture?

Men who love their sons punish them with as much passion as they would defend them. You see, by punishing your sons you ARE defending them. Peeing while sitting is just plain queer and should be treated as any other sin.

Hebrews 12:6-7

You must punish those you love. You may find you enjoy punishing them for their sin.

Follow him into the bathroom and bring a switch. Hover over him, arm poised. If you get reports of him sitting again, give him wlets so painful that he cannot sit down. He'll learn eventually. I did.

Goodness gracious! I occasionally sit on the toilet to urinate too - medical problem coupled with a 12 gallon bladder means that the process can take some time - and the reason is to take advantage of the time spent by reading. In recent months since my awakening this has usually been the KJV 1611.

I hadn't thought there might be anything wrong with this until now!
Have I sinned?
Is there any way I can empty my bladder and read still?

I'd prefer to think that if my thoughts are pure then the act itself and whilst reading scripture cannot be evil.

Nevertheless, I trust less my own judgement than the advice of better Christians than myself. All advice appreciated.

Sitting down to pee has no correlation to your sexual preference. I am gay, and I dont sit down to pee.
