So you mean to say that you NEVER have sex unless you are trying to produce a child? Dolphins also have sex for pleasure, are they then the spawn of satan?

I want children to be able to make their own path in life, instead of just being result of a strict and harsh christian enviroment. Religion should be a choice, not something forced upon you when young and just stuck with you through life.

If you learn a child to cross the road, do you let it choose it's own way to do that or do you learn it to be careful about traffic? If you want your child to survive crossing a road then why ignore something much more important like the afterlife? I think preventing children from going to hell should be the highest priority of a parent.

You can't compare crossing the road against believing in god, not being a christian won't get you run over by a car, nor cause premature death. I've understood that you are very passionate about your religion, and that is great, I am not here to dictate your beliefs should be nor do I promote denial of religious freedom, BUT, I shiver at the thought that children are forced into religion by some extremist parents, even denied to watch a bloody Harry Potter movie because the Watson's girl hair "on purpose" spelled out the word sex in a movie poster. This only reminds me of dictatorship, and I think it's disgusting.

I for one am VERY thankful to MY "extremist parents" for ensuring that my destiny is Heaven. I know that I strayed for a short while (became handrosexual), but my upbringing and the Lord helped me to overcome it.

There are many struggles in life that one has to overcome. Watching pornography like Harry Potter does not prepare one for THIS life or the next.

This site was linked to me by a friend. I came here feeling I had to say something because this has gone to far. Yes I use the term "extremist" and that's fairly accurate for parents who deny their children a multi-awarded childrens movie because one of their actors unfortunatly spelled out the word sex, WITH HER HAIR, which I by the way don't see at all.
