you have seriously got to be kidding?! if you are please tell me b/c i've seen too much radical christian stuff to know when some are serious. do you honestly believe that beating your unborn child will help it? it will only help it die before it is even born! raising your child should not take fear and power, but it should be as jesus would want it: loving and compassionate. you may say that beating an unborn child is loving, but do you honestly believe that jesus would beat a pregnant stomach. i surly hope not

Since when was being a loving parent a crime? Since when was raising a child to give them the best possible chance of being granted Salvation© cause for arrest? I was beaten with a rod as a child but I turned out just fine.

Siily woman! This thread is clearly about beating children after about the 22nd week of your pregnancy, not in the 16th. A beating now would be wasted. And I don't think it's particularly appropriate for you to take on your husband's role, otherwise your poor child might end up gender-confused before it even leaves the womb.

I agree with sparing the rod you spoil the child! Trust me, I do. I just disagree with hitting something with a head so soft. That could cause permanent brain damage. I wouldn't want to end up with a child that needs to eat out of a tube for this rest of his life. Yuck.
