Eric Schmidt, sent to earth by satan to use Google to destroy our innocent children, stopped pretending not to be evil a long long while ago. Specializing in stolen information based privacy destroying blackmailing, he suggests the only way to escape the evils of Google is to change your name .

But, evil always succeeds in becoming even worse. Today Eric Schmidt openly admitted he wants to replace God with Google! So Google wants us to stop using the Holy Bible to guide our lives and switch to Google instead!

If you read the link; The Google CEO was simply noting that a lot of young users have voluntarily released their information on Facebook.

You know what Facebook is right? Facebook isn't Google, nor is it owned by Google.

They want Google to tell them what they should be doing next.

The actual quote from the Google CEO above isn't related to Facebook. Nor is it related to God.

And from the article, it's terribly out of context. If you think about what the purpose of Google (or Yahoo, Windows Live, etc) you can see what he's trying to say.

Just like how a book in a library can help you make a decision, a search on Google (linking to this forum for example) can help you become closer to God.

Another common example; you want directions to somewhere; you'd probably use Google Maps (or Yahoo Maps) to help you make a decision. It's not telling you how to live your life.

You want to complain about search Engines? Learn about search engines in China; and that's something worth starting a controversial argument over.

I appreciate your considerate words, but I wish to make something clear:

1) I never said I used Google.
2) I never said that Google was or wasn't evil.

It just bothers me that C.O.M. has to make up false accusations, when there are plenty of valid reasons to dislike Google (or any other search engine).

Even so, I think it would be far fetched to call Google evil. Wouldn't that be like calling a tool like a knife evil? I don't think Google, being a search Engine is naturally evil. Unless he meant the company (but most of you seem to be talking about the search engine).

I don't know why he's specifically picking on Google though, as I'm sure there are other search engines he'll consider 'evil'.
