Guys we were talking about moomins... Not the wars. Not many nations can be very proud of their war history.. Including Finland and U.S.A.

From the beginning of the animated series moomimamma and moomipappa has been married. But they don't seem to give out details of the marrying ritual. This maybe different in the books, which have been written for adults, just like what happened with Walt Disney's recreation of snow white and dozens of other stories.

It's not like they covered up anything.

And those who thinks that Finnish atheists don't know anything about religion: Religion is mandatory for children in Finnish schools, unless their parents tells the school otherwise. Most of children is - as I have been - teached about the Bible (10 commandements, Jesus's miracles etc...) for almost 10 years. So we know something about it.

I have read the Bible (the old testament) and I found it demeaning towards women and other people living nearby (nowdays) Israeli area. It's been written by so many different men so it's quite a mess of stories, actually. Most of the stories in the beginning is about God telling somebody how he should mistreat his brothers families. How he is above everybody else and the land and the sea is meant only for him and his children.

Like this Jacob dude who gets his fathers blessings by cunningly impersonating his brother Esau. And that's why he gets everything from God and his manners is actually approved by god. That's the biggest coverup about who really should get everything. WOW! if God accepts people to cheat and deceive other people and own family that is quite a bad thing.

But hey! If God wants people to be bad, they should be bad. I'm not. I'm an atheist.

I think its sad that Satan can make so much spite in the world. If you people stopped thinking of yourselves for a moment and gave a thought to the children I bet you wouldnt be so quick to judge others. I would not say that all finns are Satan Worshippers but some european things are bad and moomins seem to be one of those. Why do you want children to read moomins books?? Thank you.
