For I have not any love towards any religion (only understanding for the ignorant), I must say that's not a bad thing. My only attempt here was to tell how goodwilling moomins are. And they are. Because of all the crusades and other wars that has been made in the name of god, many people has died (in vain).

Therefore I must deny all religions for their violence and I wouldn't be too sad if there was no religions at all.

Why somebody dragged the finnish president into this? Ok, she doesn't belong to any chuch, but that's because she sees the things how church insults the basic civil rights. And guess what, the moomins doesn't! They can't be claimed to be evil creatures.

Thank you. Im not one of those who want to banish every single thing that doesnt have the Message of Christ in it but a lot of childrens books are simply dangerous and misleading. I have never heard of these books before but they seem awful and full of lies. How someone can do this to a child I will never understand. Please of you see these books at your mall let the people there know what they are selling to children. Thanks!

I want to also say that there are many other things "out there" that are as bad as moomins and even worse. Even in school books! My daughter was reading a book about apes that she got from her teacher. Why do they want our children to learn about apes? Humans are not apes, there is no scientific proof of that. I will never understand it. Thanks!

I think it works.

Because I'm an atheist and I dont believe the afterlife, it gives me a good chance to live my life as good person. Also that's why I have conscience. I don't believe that every mistake goes away by praying, confessing or by other religious ritual. Every man takes responsibility of hes own actions. I understand if somebody can't and lifts the weight off their shoulders by believeing to something that doesn't exist.

Thats worst thing that human can do... or think "Kill, rape, rob! Live your life how ever you want! Because if you believe to the Savior and ask for his forgiveness you will be saved to salvation when you die". So Jesus takes away your sins and you are pure. That makes me puke!

Think about the death rows. There's murderers, rapist and other worst people nowdays. They get the their sins forgived by a priest before execution. And what if they were ever baptised? C'mon.. The heaven is full of bad people. If there was, I didn't even want to go there.

Funny and also sad, how you atheists seem to present valid arguments towards a true religion, but still you lack the common sense to see the paradox in what you utter out. And how dare you even imply such things about God!

Have you read the Bible?
Have you claimed false things about our true religion?
Do we have the same rights as you have?
And what is truth? Is truth only reserved to those who neglect to believe in the ultimate truth?

You are dead wrong. See, we do have feelings. Before I got Saved, I even had homosexural friends. But the Bible is very clear about them, and I have turned them away. I still cry from time to time because a) they will end up in hell and b) they make Jesus cry. If only they would stop their death-style!

We at Landover follow the Bible word for word. We are not like all those other liebral churches like the Westboro Baptist Church who even allow WOMEN to preach to the congregation. This is an abomination:

I was just watching some moomin episodes and the moomin pappa and moomin mamma are married, pappa calls mamma his wife. I can only wonder how much more of the points made in the first post are made up...

In school we are teached god forgives us for our sins as jeesus suffered for them on the cross. Why would a person condem gays if god himself forgives us for the sins we do?
