The Bible was NOT written by Jesus himself. The Bible was written by a fairly large group of people over time, a large portion of the New Testaments were written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And yet, none of those 4 people were alive when Jesus was. The stories and gospels of Jesus were spread on though mouth to mouth and paper. Can you really guarentee Jesus wasn't the Hitler of the Ignorant Age? And yes, Pastafarianism IS a load of crap to me. But I love it. And Pastafarianism doesn't contradict itself. His Noodley Whatevertheheckheis purposely put those contradictions there to weed out the posers from the true believers. I BELIEVE!
