Amen Pastor, I suspect the unsaved are illiterate, or make claims dislexia(because they are lazy), or both.

Clearly, the secular educationing of these individuals has taken a greater downfall than I previously suspected.

Homeschooling, and Jesus in office would fix this whole problem.

The in utero SPL is quite high at around 90dB. Imagine what the the unborn heathen must hear. As the neural tube develops in such an environment it is the auditory perception which predominates, innoculating the fœtus against the message of Jesus (in that case). The mother will often say His Name of course but always accompanied by curse words &¿@@$y Jesus or worse, sex words £¿¢¥ing Jesus and thus envenomed the infant would be blasted forever UNLESS he had been CHOSEN.
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the bellie, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the wombe, I sanctified thee, and I ordeined thee a Prophet vnto the nations.

The Bibles teaches us that Jesus knew His Own even before conception. Even when commanded to marry prostitutes - Hosea for example - we can be certain that God has matters well in hand and that such children will be secure within His Perfect Love. I dread to think what language such young Christians must endure but as God explained to Jeremiah it is not their age or pre-conception experiences that matter but His Holy Inspiration:
      JEREMIAH1
6 Then said I, Ah Lord God, behold, I cannot speake, for I am a childe.
7 ¶ But the Lord sayd vnto me, Say not, I am a childe: for thou shalt goe to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoeuer I command thee, thou shalt speake.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.
9 Then the Lord put foorth his hand, and touched my mouth, and the Lord said vnto me, Behold, I haue put my words in thy mouth.

Down syndrome proves that God is real! Our old pal Richard Dawkins as mush as says so! Look, ask any evolutionist or pal of RDs for an instance where genetic information is added to a genome as a ruslt of a mutation....they can't because it can't happen that way. SO when information (the extra chromosone ADDED to the 46 we typically inherit from our parents) to have 47 chromosones that is the signature of Downs Syndrome we know it MUST be placed there with a PURPOSE! Obviously placed there by our Lord to identify those that HE knows will become the slackers, and drags on our society that HE knows they will become. He ADDS the extra information because it tends to make them look the same so we will at once know those that are making this lifestyle choice and at the same time to reveal himself by adding the chromosone to accomplish this. Evolution can't add information only God can. Praise God for making these slackers with Downs syndrome so we know them when we see them and to show us his hand!

Has it ever occurred to you Christian Baptist haters that perhaps the child was sinning in the womb? Maybe it saw it's own penis and started masturbating?

Maybe it knew that once outside the womb it could get straight at mommy's boobies?

You guy's just don't think. That's why Landover Baptist is God's favourite church and Jesus chose to be an American.

Hooray for AMERICAN Airlines [James 4:17] (yes, I want to emphasize "American"), which takes an American/Christian view to letting sinners on planes.

A couple who have NOT found favor in the sight of the Lord were given a re-re son as part of their punishment. Colossians 3:6. Sixteen years later, they want to take advantage of all of the benefits and privileges normally reserved for upstanding citizens and Christians: to fly first class!

American Airlines took one look at the fruits of their sin. Matthew 12:22. And American Airlines drew a line there and then. 2 Timothy 4:2

God Bless American Airlines for having the courage to put that demon spawn where it belongs: In the back! Revelation 14:12. Isaiah 55:7.

From a scientific perspective (if you would like to take such), I think it’s obvious that anybody with Down syndrome have it by choice. What would the alternative be? That some people randomly get an extra chromosome? Not likely if you ask me. There is very little room for coincidence in science.

To me, having Down syndrome is no different from having pierced nipples; not a very nice property of a human being and surely the result of an active choice.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18) - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
(1 Corinthians 10:10) - Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer
(Psalm 106:25) - But murmured in their tents, And hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD
(Ephesians 4:29) - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers

You're right there. A-tists fail simple logic. That stray chromosome is either
                    A:
something you get, also known as a choice or
                    B: handed out by someone.
The $10K question for all a-tists out there is: if you didn't picked that chromo devil by your free will, who gave it to you?

Never once did Jesus mention "mental disorders" or any of the various "syndromes" (such as Tourette's syndrome[sic]). We know that dialogue between the Epicureans and Stoics arrived at a theory of the unconscious mind, as modern headshrinkers would term it, and Greek learning is referred to occasionally in the New Testament so we can be certain that Jesus was aware of those ideas. Many of the demon possessed individuals whom Jesus encountered have their "symptoms" well described and sometimes a demoniac will be described as having some illness AS WELL AS being demon possessed. Luke in particular would know the difference between the two and I've posted references to his witness before (if heathens could be bothered to read things before sounding off they'd already know this). Psychiatrists can even tell us which "mental illness" or what "brain lesions" in their opinion caused the aberrant behaviours!

Jesus could have said "oh, this person is not demon possessed but is suffering from an undiagnosed mental illness" - there would be terminology available to Him if he'd wished to say that - but He NEVER said that.

When people were mistaken in their ideas Jesus ALWAYS corrected them (the Scribes and the Pharisees are a good example of that).
Where demoniacs are concerned He NEVER corrected anyone and in fact reiterated the TRUE DIAGNOSIS: demons.

Psychiatrists do not believe in demons. Satan is their master.
Jesus did not believe in syndromes and disorders. Jesus is God.

                      Spot the difference?

You folks sure are impressive with all your data and facts. Can I ask you all a question? Since you believe everything that the Bible says is true... allow me to refer you to the Book of Matthew 25:34-46. It talks about serving the least of these. Those who can't do for themselves does NOT mean they are lazy!
For your information (and you called yourself Christians, was that what you said? Baptists at that?!) Down's Syndrome is a chromosomal disorder in which there are 3 copies of the 21st chromosome instead of 2. God doesn't make mistakes. Those with Downs or Autism are not retarded. You can label them, but they have talents and great abilities and are wonderful children that God made. For those of you saying they don't have a soul, I believe you are as wrong as they come! Have you ever taken the chance to talk to someone with Down's Syndrome?

Apparently not since you're avoiding them like the plague. It's not a disease and you're not going to catch it from talking to them. Serving the least of these is what God has asked us ALL to do! And that's straight from the King James Bible. I am currently in college pursuing my degree to teach Special Education to these students society has already seemed to write off and you all as "Christians" (and I will use that label lightly seeing what I see here) reject them. Ha I have pity on YOUR souls.

We'll all be judged one day by the God who created all of us. There's no reason not to love and accept others. Really there isn't. Try and argue with that. I guarantee you there are millions of people out there just like me who stand up for the underdogs, the mistreated, the teased, and the bullied because of groups just like this one who think it's okay to belittle them. I think all of the students I work with who have mental or physical disabilities are smarter than this collective forum. Guaranteed. Thank you for your time.

Not under a rock, madam, but founded on the bedrock of Christian Theology, as based on the 1611 King James Bible!

As you should know if you were a True Christian, the Holy Bible is the source of all knowledge. We depend on it.

But... you can't prove it. Can you?

This is a bit of a problem for anyone who would believe in a benevolent God. Why would someone be created who lacks the ability (due to physical or mental shortcomings of any variety) to appreciate Christ's sacrifice and beg forgiveness for their sins, which is necessary for acceptance into the kingdom of Heaven?

One way to answer this conundrum is that they don't really have souls (like gingers), and thus will not be doomed to the Lake of Fire for eternity for something that wasn't their fault in the first place.

The other is to accept what the Bible tells us: that some are predestined for salvation from "before the foundation of the world" (Ephesians 1:4), and some aren't. It's just the way that cookie crumbled.

The point both of these views have in common is that there cannot be a benevolent, omnipotent God in a universe that contains birth, genetic, or developmental defects of any sort. The Bible, of course, at no point claims that God loves everyone, and even goes out of it's way to reinforce that God will punish some "just because".
