Playing video games is something real that you are actually doing to keep your mind off things,going to church for something utterly fake is a waste of time.

It wouldn't be the first time, it won't be the last. The unsaved get a kick out of persecuting us, possibly even a "high" other than their usual marihuana buzz. But we glory in the persecution, because it's just further proof that the Bible is 100% correct.
