Reminder: Absentee Ballots Due Oct 19

This is a reminder that everyone must place their blank absentee ballots in the collection plate along with your weekly tithe, during any service between now and Sunday 10/19.

The pastors and the deacons will handle filling them out and turning them in.

If you haven't picked up your absentee ballot yet, please give this your prompt attention.

I'm not sure which is more pathetic - that you don't trust your members to go to the polls and vote as their conscience tells them to, or that your members would surrender something as precious as their vote to someone else.

Bump.

We've only received absentee ballots from about 60% of everyone. There's only two more weeks until they are due and I don't want to have to remind you about the fines and other penalties you will face for turning them in late.

I'm not sure which is more pathetic - that you don't trust your members to go to the polls and vote as their conscience tells them to, or that your members would surrender something as precious as their vote to someone else.

We are doing them a favor. Our church members are busy people and they don't have time to research the candidates to figure out which ones really love the Lord and which ones are undercover Atheists.

If they didn't want to vote the way Landover Baptist Church votes, why are they there in the first place? You clearly have no idea what it is like to have the purity of faith in the one true God flowing through your veins.

This seems like a very loving, caring system from the Church, why would you try to sully it? I don't like the way you post.

Lady its' a free country my dad fought for our right to do what our pastors tell us to if you dont' like it your welcome to move to north korea anyway our pastors know whats' best and i always listen to them so giving them my absntee ballot is like cutting out the middle man.

Brother Hatchet, you do understand you are expected to go in and vote on election day as well has voting by absentee ballet? As Jesus instructs us we are not luke warm when is comes to our civil duty as good and TRUE Christian citizens.

That is a remind that members of the Landover spiritual Courtesy Patrol will be going around with Republican Party Ward members to make sure everyone votes come Nov 11.
