I'll take God's rebukes as He gives them, and trust me, He has definitely rebuked me in the past. I don't think that verse you quoted is referring to human chastisement though, and I still would appreciate if you would tell me how to delete my account.

Beyond that, I suppose I should also be thankful that I am suffering persecution, but even Jesus wiped His hands of His own hometown when they rejected Him so severely.

To answer your question, let me say that I don't think there's any way Jesus would take comfort in knowing any soul was headed to hell. He was probably extremely sorrowful, and He didn't want any of them to go to hell despite the fact He knew His death had to happen to assure salvation.

In a different answer, let me ask you this. Would you be vindicated in knowing that the least of the artworks you had created, the ones that had caused you the most grief in the making, were headed to an incinerator? As an artist, you would be appalled, and Jesus, as Creator and thus artist, had to have been just miserable thinking about it.

Now that I have answered your question, I am leaving. I do not want to cause any more trouble or pose any more questions. I suppose my account will just have to remain without me behind it.

Jesus was grieved because He knew that I was going to hell, and then, I accepted Him into my heart. I claimed the Bible's truth that Jesus Christ is the only way for any man, woman, or child to be saved, and I acknowledged that, as a sinner, I had no part in heaven without His salvation. I prayed that Jesus would forgive my sins and fill my heart with His Holy Spirit, and He did. I know I am going to heaven when I die, and I strive to live for Jesus in everything I do. I am now a child of the King, and He alone casts judgment on me; I do not pretend to be perfect because I am not, and I hope I have made my case. You might still think I am headed for hell, but God and I both, not any other person, are the ones who really know. Until that day when I see Him face-to-face, you cannot assume anything other than the fact that I do not believe as you do.

3) I object to your statement that Jesus did not discriminate among humans when he clearly was slumming at all times. Think about how many people you know that have personal wealth such as their own home. "Bi-curious" is just another name for sodomite. With His great compassion, Jesus condemns all homers, including lesbians.

It's a shame you're not sticking around, you seem reasonably bright, and I hate to think of you leaving here to continue your hellbound ways. Just a question: who do you think condemned the soldiers to Hell, if not Jesus? See, your artist analogy doesn't really work, because the artists probably wouldn't be the one condemning their own work to the incinerator, unless they were some crazy Gogol type, in which case they probably wouldn't mind burning it. But it is God (or, to put it another way, Jesus) that judges us and condemns sinners to Hell. Do you really think there's no way Jesus could have saved those soldiers' souls, if He really wanted to?

My dear jalmquist, you are quite confused yet about religion and God.

You see, when God wrote the Bible, He intended for each person to read it, learn the rules, and follow the rules on his own. It's really very simple.

However, False Christians came along, and twisted God's word into the horrific, bigoted nonsense you see today.

First were the Catholics. They created a massive, worldwide organization which ran church and government. They instituted boy-buggery as part of their worship, among other Satanic rites such as cannibalism.

In order to wrest control from these perverted monsters, God had King James hire scribes, and re-dictated the Bible to them in English. This way, the common folk could understand it.

Then came many Protestant denominations. They never gained direct control of government, and stayed away from child molestation, but behaved in most other ways just like the Catholics!

All this while, Landover Baptist Church evangelized, but was often shouted down by False Christians who wanted to ignore parts of God's Word. You see, certain things made their members feel bad about themselves. Those people wouldn't come to church, and wouldn't donate any money. So, the False Christians created a False Christianity, which would cherry-pick Bible verses.

Most False Christians kept verses like those about homosexuals, because at the time, they didn't contribute much money to churches anyway. When slavery was popular, they preached about how Negroes were the children of Ham, and serving their God-ordained roles. But more and more of them ignored verses about divorce, or adultery, or any number of other things.

This way, the churches could keep most of their members donating, while also giving their members "worse sinners" to feel better than.

With the advent of the Internet, Landover was finally able to reach many millions of people with its message of hope and complete and utter unquestioning obedience to the Creator.

You see, we only want people to know the Truth about God and Jesus, which is why we spend our time volunteering for the Church. Nearly all of the 2.1 billion people who call themselves Christians are actually following a watered-down abomination, if not Satanism itself.

It is only when they see the Truth that they can choose either to follow Jesus -- by following the WHOLE Bible, every bit, not just that which is convenient -- or make a decision to reject Him honestly. Still, in the Old Testament, God showed a remarkable predilection for dung and slaves compared to in the NT where he starts revealing the horrors of brimstone. I find it elucidating to learn different people's opinions on that subject.

I would say that God is very consistent throughout the entire Bible on subjects such as slavery.
