Let me correct your false assumptions. I am American and proud of it. And, no, before you ask, I am not telling you what state I live in. That's not the point. The point is that I have been American my entire life, and I love my homeland. Don't insult my intelligence by telling me I'm not American if I don't think like you because that would not only be insulting me but millions of others who consider themselves American.

Unless you want to be judged, I'd suggest you not judge people as you do.

Let's get one thing straight. YOU don't condemn me anywhere. YOU don't have the authority of God to judge me. YOU are not the Creator, and therefore, I defy you to judge my eternal home.

Let's also get this straight: for the record, I am a Christian. If you want to argue that point, let's argue it without labeling one another.

I thought this was an Independent Baptist church as well; does that mean your statement to me applies to you? Oh, wait, I forgot, you apparently can predict and understand an almighty God who, per His Word, explains quite explicitly that puny humans do NOT understand Him.

I'd appreciate if you would think first before putting up such an inflammatory statement about someone you've never met who is making points that you dislike. If you want to debate my beliefs, that's fine, but saying that I should visit whore house is a bit immature, don't you think?

By writing what you wrote, you are making yourself sound more foolish. Why not prove me wrong? Why not write something intelligent that rebuts my argument? Please, if you're only going to insult me, at least acknowledge why you're insulting me.

Mercy, mercy... you people. I don't know where you get your delusions. I never once said that I didn't believe Jesus was God. You really must learn to read better.

I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who is God, as per Biblical teachings.

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say here. The Law is definitely under Jesus considering, as God, He created it. However, if you're referring to the Law, as per Israelite teachings, you might want to check out some verses in Romans that better explain what Jesus came to do. I'll just quote a couple of verses that stick out to me, but I urge you to check out the rest.

"Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life." Romans 5:18

"For sin shall no longer have dominion over you: for ye are no longer under the law, but under grace." Romans 6:14

"Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ, that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter." Romans 7:4-6

Basically this sums up to say that through Adam sin came into the world, and we were all condemned to death. Jesus, however, came and took the punishment for our sins and thus gave us salvation. Because of salvation, we are no longer under the law. (Romans 6:14 above) Rather we are under grace, and grace compels us to obey God. Because salvation makes us to be under grace, we follow God and work to "bring forth fruit unto God" rather than unto our sinful natures. So, if I am interpreting this correctly, that is what I mean about the Law.

I believe I have been using Scripture to back up my claims, and I am assuming my verses make sense. If not, please let me know.

Finally, let me assure you that I do not hate God. You obviously have not been reading my words carefully if you feel that way.

Oh, and by the way, Pastor Ezekiel, I am not, as you call it, a Jehovah's "Witless". That is a singularly derogatory term that I would not expect Christians to use, and I would not use it myself. I do not understand why you insist on degrading those who are unlike you, but there again, I obviously do not understand your religion.

I'd have to agree with Jalmquist (sorry if I misspell the name) on what has been said around here. No one has been able to prove to me that this church is legitimate or that it has followed the teachings of the Bible to a "t" like they claim.

On the bright side, I've had fun debating points. If this church is legitimate, then I pray for all of you who believe in this kind of a Christianity. You've obviously misconstrued the concept of a Christian.

Christianity is about Christ-followers (thus, the name Christian), and Jesus Christ was decidedly not about attacking people with labels, playing favorites or condemning people who had not made their choice yet. He allowed Saul to become a Christian after Saul had preyed upon Christians and delivered them to be stoned. Saul became Paul who wrote a majority of the New Testament.

Jesus also said that the person with no sins should be the one to cast the first stone at the woman dragged before Him. No one could claim to be sinless, and thus, everyone slowly left the area. Jesus healed lame, blind, paralyzed, and never once did He call them malformed or condemned to hell (as some on another of the forums here have claimed).

If this is legitimate, then I ask where you get the delusions that this church is the favorite church of God.

Jalmquist, allow me to explain something to you:

There is no joke here. We are as serious as the very fires of Hell.

We at Landover Baptist Church are here to share with you the Truth about God as He presents Himself in His Word, the Holy KJV1611 Bible.

If you feel that we are "joking", I invite -- nay, challenge -- you to find any place where we have misquoted, "interpreted", or otherwise been in any way dishonest about what the Bible says.

We follow ALL the parts of the Bible, not just John 3:16, like many False Christians who love their idea of a hippie love God -- that is, their own imaginings, or what God would be if God would only be what they wanted God to be -- rather than God Himself.

Unlike False Christian churches, we do not create God in our own image. We give the glory to the real God, as He has presented Himself in His Word.
